    FALLEN

Very well done Steve - you have a knack of transmitting emotion with your vocal and this one doesn't disappoint.
  2. love it JW - I also agree about the drums - maybe drop them out completely? There's enough rhythm everywhere else in the track to carry it. Love a bit of ragtime.
  3. wowzer Bob - that is a wall of sound! The mix is spot on to my ears
  4. Slinky indeed Freddy - you are king of the slink. Great work on the harp.
  5. excellent work all round - this popped right out of my speakers. The video is also very effective.

    Opposites

all my favourite singers can't sing The mix shows that you don't like the sound of your own voice - up the vocal volume - I can barely hear it. Lyrics and tune are great.

    City Girls

yeehaw! Very well done Gary - not my thang at all but I can appreciate it. I particularly like the squeezebox coming in and out.
  8. Thanks Bob - you da man very kind of you Thanks Gary
  9. Hi Folks Here's a track that a very talented friend of mine, Tom Passamonte wrote and recorded at my (small but perfectly formed) studio. He is singing and playing all the guitars, I am on backing vocals, bass, drums etc. I cannot take any credit for the song but he left the production to me.

    Night Beach

This is really nice Wookster. Love the synth brass arp that comes in - straight off A Broken Frame by Depeche Mode. Can I suggest a title for the follow up to this one - 'Son of a Beach' ?
  11. Excellent Tom - did I hear the (in)famous baritone in there? Going back for my second listen.
  12. This is great. Good job both of you. I'm listening on my phone as I am away from home but will listen again when I get back.
  13. firstly, John, so sorry about your pal Ginger - not sure what I'd do without my best mate Sir Alex. This is really nice John - very tasteful all ways round - and I like the electric piano.....except, it seems to get a bit 'clunky' around the breakdown section (2.26 to 3.06) - and the ending - maybe use a different piano sound (acoustic) just to underline those sections - something that works better in the lower register?
  14. Thanks a lot Amicus Thanks so much Andy thanks a lot kakku We do like repeating ourselves
  15. you know I'm a fan already mate - this is another great piece of quirkery
  16. DO NOT GIVE UP JOHN. You have talent mate. As Lynn said above, arrange your vocal melody/song according to your vocal capabilities or get someone else to sing your songs if you don't like the sound of your own voice. I know I always make sure the key is right for me and use liberal amounts of Melodyne.
