super cool Bats. Hope you are well mate. I had the great pleasure of driving round the Monaco circuit while working for Lexus many moons ago. It was surreal

Cool Makke - Hank Marvin would enjoy this one
-
Very nice Kevin - I like the sparse instrumentation. Maybe dial back the reverb a tad ? There is a bit of a wash over everything

Hi nice forum folk I hope you are all well. Here's a new song that Ed Kocol (Bapu) and I wrote and the fab James Griffiths (JamesG1213) played on. Baps also plays bass and the current Mrs Daryl1968 sings backing vocals. Nits and crits welcome - lyrics below link You Shaped Hole in My Heart Written by Ed Kocol and Daryl Greenway Guitar James Griffiths Bass Ed Kocol Vocals, keyboards etc by Staypress V1 Starting from nothing was what we had We never saw it as good or bad For better or worse, we gave it our all Just how could we fall? V2 Same old story we wouldn't last But all the glory is in the past It's you and me in heaven on earth We'll show them what we're worth Prechorus But I need to speak my mind I don't mean to be unkind Chorus i told you right from the start, there's a you shaped hole in my heart V3 We kept calm and carried on Creating the words to our song Verse after verse continued to flow As we put on our show Prechorus Chorus Bloody lovely solo here Chorus to end

I can't upload a video of inside the control room of studio 2 - I was there on a mate's Disney session recording keyboard overdubs. Only observing but it was a dream come true. -

Yeah. It was amazing. Definitely a bucket list moment Got to play 'Mrs Mills' piano and other legendary instruments -
Hi Lynn Firstly, sorry it's taken me so long to have a listen. Sounds like you had fun with this mate - some nicely quirky sounds and effects. Lyrics have a psychadelic, almost Lucy in the Sky quality. Backing vocals are excellent. Mix is very good - minor nit but the vocals maybe a tad too loud and appear to have a ducking effect on the rest of the music? (I am recovering from covid and my ears ain't the best so that maybe me) Very cool mate
