Yeah that was the hardest part. Couldn't find a download anywhere. I had to "buy" the demo and that finally gave me download links in "My Products". They seem to be individualised to my order so I can't link here unfortunately.

I couldn't apply a second code. Or maybe I just thought I couldn't because it saved the first code in the form. ?

Amateurs. Iadded the free Shreddages to my cart and upon checkout it asked if I wanted to add XTC for $30. Then one coupon that's clearly meant to give $15 off did $27 off. No idea why this happened. I had another loyalty deal in my cart before but removed it before going to checkout.

Honestly, I think they might be too pro for me. Using them subtly, I can't tell any difference within a full mix, and using them to the point I CAN hear a difference makes my mixes sound thin and narrow. I kept some, like VREV-305 and Flywheel, which are excellent.

Well yeah, FabFilter was a placeholder for <your personal favourite> ? I only own a handful of their plugins and honestly won't have much use for most of the Pro line except for ProQ, but I will upgrade to the total bundle before my EDU discount runs out because that’s too good of a deal to pass up.

I can't for the life of me imagine dealing with that kind of amount of choices. I probably have less than a quarter of what Bapu and Fleer each have installed and I'm being overwhelmed by the insane amount of choices every time I need to choose anything. Someone posted something like "got this so I can scroll past it on my way to FabFilter" in a deal thread once and I can't think of a more apt description of my and probably a lot of people's buying behaviour.

Yeah, my bad. It might have been one or two single comments I had read. I've revisited the Gearspace thread and these are actually praised quite a bit. I've also now demo'd all of them and don't have any use for the delay and wonky fx ones because I already have a million plugins that can do very similar / virtually identical things and I'm not much of a sound mangler anyway. That being said, I bought the saturation plugin because it's dirt cheap and so I can briefly consider using it before picking Kelvin every time.

Teehee, I just sold the remainder of my non-NFR Fuse plugins on KVR for a decent price.

The consensus is these are pretty bad, right? I never bothered to check why though.

About 847 Gearspacers would say they can hear a difference and about 3 actually could.

And also a 10th of the quality, as per usual Hornet standards.

Unpopular opinion time: all the Jupiters and Junos are doing absolutely nothing for me. They have the most boring, lifeless sound I can possibly imagine. In fact, I would go as far as to say they have almost single-handedly ruined music with a lasting impact, because all of the bands that sounded f-ing amazing in the 70s with their Moogs and whatnot suddenly sounded thin and artificial in the 80s and made sh-tty pop music when these pieces of junk became available.

The latter. And I definitely didn't buy it. It must have come with some other Tracktion software.

They confirmed they won't be getting any more Eden serials for this price. I am obsessively checking every place to check and still missed it. Maybe it's time to take a breather and realise I have more than enough tools anyway.

The abandonware Kuassa one from many moons ago? I would expect extremely favourably, but I haven't tried either. I just got AuroraDSP Gorilla so I'll have something to play with.

All time low on Eden. And it's sold out. Was that like, 3 copies?

Some of the worst demos I have ever heard for anything. Ear piercingly bad. But I guess someone's trash is another's treasure.

I have never understood the „clip“ way of working, unless we're talking live usage. Give me an arranged timeline or I get confused immediately. Also, I rarely ever copy paste anything because actually playing stuff makes a huge difference.

Is this another worthless one or should I bother?
