Hi the console 4K in the Multicomp Plus MK2 is the channel compressor of that "not to be named" console. While this new plugin is an emulation of the bus compressor. Plenty. First the FET model is one of the oldest compression algorithm we have and it has been designed copying the behaviour of a simulated 1176 circuit (we used some engineering tool called SPICE, some of you may know it, to simulate the circuit beck in 2013 or something...) the H76 model is the result of the analysis of a real 1176 blackface hardware, measured in every aspect (and the attack an release behaviour it's completely different in real life from what the circuit seems to imply) Also the compression curves are different and this makes a big difference too. Thank you Do you know we have a 160 emulation in Multicomp Plus MK2? It's also circuit based and we haven't measured any hardware unit but it's nice nevertheless. BTW you'll be happy to know that we are working on TrackShaper MK2 Saverio

We have only this Tape emulation, the other may think of is Cassette644 but it emulates cheap audio cassette. Saverio

Yes sure you have all the standard controls of any 1176 emulation then like we have for our HA2A you have different "auto" buttons that sets those controls for you. Saverio

We don't have an 1176 emulation, we have a FET model in both Channelstrip MK3, Multicomp and Multicomp Plus MK2. That model is the digital simulation of the circuit of the 1176, it's not an emulation of a specific hardware model. We are working right now on an 1176 exact emulation. though! Saverio

Hi we currently don't support a "default" setting for the plugin, the workaround is to use presets. But since it's a useful feature we are going to add the request in our request list! Saverio
