Because after the update the old library data was still there and the plugin would not load.

Looks like the data (sound) files are different and need to be uninstalled before updating.

I own many 8dio products and NEVER get crossgrade codes.

I wouldnt bother editing them out as the codes are everwhere , many commpanies allow crossgrades without actually owning any products. ?
