  1. Core EQ In addition to the Spectrum Analyzer, also adding a SOLO Button for each band is very useful
  2. Core Delay Adding some sort of graphical/visual representation of the delays will make it very useful to see how the delays will be perceived. The many new Delay plugins out there these days has some sort of visual representation, and it certainly adds value and helps. Here are some suggestions, but I am sure there are many other ways to visually do this too
  3. I am using a smaller keyboard these days which doesn't have the numeric keypads like the fuller keyboard has, how can I nudge Midi notes an octave up or down without using the transpose dialog box? I set the key binding for regular nudge up and down to square brackets [ ] (See picture below), but I cannot find entries for the Octave up and down under the Keyboard Shortcuts > Function List to bind to a different keys. z I tried pressing my new key bindings with the combination of Control Key ( Ctrl + [ and Ctrl + ] ) to see if it behaves like the Numpad 2 and 8 with the Control key which nudge them an octave up or down on a fuller keyboard, but it doesn't. How do I set this up to nudge an octave up or down using different keys?
  4. Yes, you are correct. That is the first solution that I thought, but while I started typing I forgot that completely 😁🤭 Thank you for adding that 👍
  5. These Core plugins looks good, clean and crisp and also love all the colors that are added and how they make the visual experience much better. Superb color selection, subtle and to the point to give enough contrast. A Modern take for the beloved Sonitus Plugins looks and sounds great !! I played with them last night for nearly 2 hours well passed into midnight, I guess a new toy syndrome. The quality of these plugins are great. And these plugins adds nothing noticeable to the CPU or processing power, is just unbelievable. They are very efficient. Thank you Bakers for the wonderful job! few things... Clicking (single or double-click) on the band numbers on the graph doesn't turn the band on and off like QuadCurve EQ flyout. Not sure if it is a bug or may be the original Sonitus EQ didn't have that feature. But it is inconvenient as most EQs works that way. And also, a Spectrum Analyzer added to this Core EQ would make it a complete package 😁 🤞. Give a little more space between the knobs and the green value indicator on the outer ring to improve the visibility a little more. They are too close and when a person sitting 3 feet away from the monitor, it is hard to see. Just to show a comparison: vs easy to see as enough space between the knob and the colored outer ring indicator The other highlighted areas indicated in the above picture can be improved as well for clarity, a little more lighter grey will improve the visibility more. This applies to all other Core plugins which has similar things on the UI. Another vote for making these plugins re-sizeable. 👍 When scaling these plugins make all component of the UI increases proportionally, all the knobs, texts, meters and graphs.
  6. In PRV, doing multi-track editing is little harder due to the way the note colors are displayed with almost transparent look on the non-selected track's notes especially in the Dark Theme. Selected Active track notes are fine and very visible, but the other tracks notes are difficult to see. When dealing with hundreds of Midi tracks this becomes a little difficult doing multi-track arrangements. @Noel Borthwick Can the note display for the non-selected tracks be improved with little more towards solid color for the Dark Theme by reducing the transparency and increasing the opacity? Part of the on-going Theme improvements, please consider this improvement as well.
  7. @Jonathan Sasor What changes are there on the prochannel update? is it only this? Crash on playback with prochannel plugins on surround bus
  8. Just did an update for the new version of Next, even after a successful install and update, Product Center still says update available Next already shows it got updated to version .317
  9. Noticing a difference in the way Now Time cursor moves in the Piano Roll, it is not smooth almost crawling. In Track View it moves smoothly. Sorry, not able to take a video to show this at this moment.
  10. These days pretty much most software, apps and plugins comes with the way of tagging things on their Browsers as 'Favorites' and this certainly help with the workflow. 1. Give us an ability to easily and intuitively tag plugins, instruments and etc in the Sonar Browser to create a 'Favorites" list and an easy access to display them. This will be an awesome addition to the Browser. 2. Other DAWs already displays plugin images, which we don't have in Sonar. But that is another way to easily identify the plugins especially when plugins are named creatively and/or at times in bizarre ? naming convention with new plugin manufacturers, it helps to identify them faster. A picture is worth a thousand words !
  11. 1. Displaying the Meter / Key Signature changes on the Track Time-line is needed especially when scoring for videos. This is missing in Cakewalk/Sonar. Most other DAWs (Paid and Free) already has this. The above pictured video is just under 2 minutes and has already 2 Meter changes, just imagine doing a 30 minutes to hours video and how difficult not be able to see the Meter changes on the Track Time-line while scoring. 2. A dedicated lane for Note or Marker Almost all other DAWs has a dedicated lane on Track View for Marker, but Cakewalk uses Time-Ruler area to display this. Unfortunately when we add more Markers (like a note) on the Time-Ruler it gets cluttered and hard to read unless zoomed in. In addition to the current Marker functionality, please give us a dedicated lane for additional Notes that can be put on the Track Time-line. Again, this is imperative one of those things needed for people who are scoring to videos to put in vital notes. Can be called whatever.... Note or Tag or Flag or Time-line Note or Mark or Label or Caption or whatever. The point is giving us an ability to put some sort of note on the Track Time-line. A color-coded label will be greatly appreciated. You have "Lyrics" Track in Cakewalk Next, even that dedicated lane can be used to put notes for people who are not writing songs. And it is color-coded as well ?. Like me, there are thousands of people who downloaded and adopted to the Cakewalk free version do some sort of video work. While it was being Free people may have ignored and learned to live with some of these missing features. But when there is a need to pay for it now then for sure people will be comparing different DAWs to see what fits them and all the available features and how it helps with their work-flow and of course comparative price point for those features as well. The above 2 requests may seem simple to people who doesn't do music for video, but these small changes make a big difference to the work-flow for those who do score for videos.
  12. Wow ?.... thank you for confirming that . Looking forward to that build ?
  13. 10. Add a Sorting Option to the Quick Start screen > Local Projects Currently as a default it is sorted by alphabetical order, please add Date order as well. it will be very helpful especially when selecting "All" to sort by date order .
  14. Thank you to Cakewalk Dev Team !! # 2 is fixed, confirmed. # 1 (Piano Roll - Track Strip) issue still exists in the new build too . #8 - Thank you for adding the "Tracks with Data" option ? ? ? Tested it with Projects that has only Midi clips, and also project with only Audio recordings and also with combination (Midi, Instrument Track and Audio)... it works great ? One thing which is missing... an indicator to show which option is selected Please add an indicator either like checkmark ✔️ or the indicator available in the Piano Roll - Track strip Filter Option
