got all their shiz.  it was free for me.  

 

I wish the snaps weren't just clave sounds but actual finger snaps.  Kind of a fail.  Honestly, thought this was loading the incorrect sample or something.  

If you're thinking "Hell, I'll upgrade for $10 since the snaps will be worth it"- you'll be disappointed.  

There's auth process has a history of failing on me from time to time, but they always get me up and running within a day if this happens.

Serum2 definitely hits the CPU harder than 1, but this is rarely a concern on my rigs, even laptop.  Others might have issues here, so demodemodemo.  

It might sound dumb but being able to Undo is one of my most welcome new 'features' in 2.  

The new Oscillator section is awesome.  The Wavetable Oscillator (think "real world" instruments) has new warp modes, dual warp functions and phase distortion and new Multisample, Granular and Spectral Oscillators.   The new Arpeggiator and Clip Sequencer is also a step forward, making it even more of a 'can be used for everything' soft synth.  

The presets (which most I really like) are guiding my way because it can get pretty deep.

There also might be a rent to own option attached to Splice.  I know a lot of people got hooked that way.

Fair enough.  Not everything is for everyone, but this covers so much ground and most of the time beats out whatever else we put it up against.  Overtime, I found it to be as good a value as Arturia (which it saying a lot for me).  

Demo works every time you open it for a limited time last I remember.  

Free upgrade = free loyal customer 

 

If you don't own it, seriously consider it.  My most used softsynth.

I think this might have changed.  Are you seeing this from the site?  

I reason I ask is that I purchased this, even though a have a sub with it, so I always had an extra around.  When the purchase was complete, I looked for the serial and couldn't find it.  I opened the iLok manager and it was deposited there.
