  1. What about third-party plugins? When you switch to an ARM-based computer, you can now use Sonar's ARM version, which is great, but do the plugins work somehow? I guess not, unless there are specific, available ARM versions of these plugins?
  2. Yes, I did, but it still wouldn't work... yesterday. I just tried again today and now it's working like a charm. So... good news 🙂
  3. I have the same sign in issue today. I used the Cakewalk Product Center and Sonar (paid version) yesterday with no issue. Following Noel's instructions, I actually uninstalled all MS redists, downloaded them all again from Microsoft, and reinstalled them all. I also redownloaded and reinstalled the Cakewalk Product Center itself. Yet, signing in from the Cakewalk Product Center still fails. But I can open up and use Cakewalk by Bandlab, Cakewalk Sonar, and Cakewalk Next. They are all activated. The problem only shows up with the Cakewalk Product Center, which may be a problem for future updates (although I guess I can check updates and update from the Options menu within Sonar and Next?). Nothing changed in my computer since yesterday evening and today. What the hell is happening? Why does sign in suddenly fail from one day to the next? I don't like playing around too much with the Microsoft redists as other programs on my computer also make use of them (like the video editor Vegas Pro for instance).
  4. Unearthing this topic, and using the latest version of Cakewalk by Bandlab (2024.12 build 125) I noticed this only works if you have selected a midi channel on the midi track. If the midi channel is set to none, which is the case by default when you first create the track, then the filter does not work at all. Edit: on another try, it did work without selecting a channel. The behavior of this function is weird.
  5. Weird, it seems to work fine when I click on it... I'm trying to find a solution.
  6. Great work, thank you for sharing!
  7. What about the track icons in the upcoming Sonar? As the UI will be vector-based, will we still be able to use our own custom images as track icons, or will we be limited to a default selection? If the possibility still exists, will the custom icons need to be in BMP format, as of now, or will it accept resizable vector formats? Or other bitmap formats such as jpg, png (for transparency)... ?
  8. Arm button modified... You may download it here if you want to try it: Cakewalk theme - High Contrast
  9. Well, I thought about it (for good looks), but he said "fancy track coloring and shades of gray are lost on me". Yes, he's talking about track coloring, but I assumed he may have difficulties discerning colors and nuances. So I'm sticking to black and white. You can't go more contrasted that this.
  10. Thanks Colin Nicholls and Canopus. Suggestions well noted!
  11. I've started working on a high contrast theme. It's not finished, but you can already see the Control Bar (top of the screen) is ready, as well as most icons (like Mute/Solo/Record) on the tracks and buses. Would something like that be readable enough?
  12. Oh come one! Stop asking about the price, people! Yes, it's important to know, but we'll get to know when they announce it. In the meantime, just be patient. We'll know. What's the hurry?
