SYNTH SALE! 3 for £99.99, 2 for £66.66, 1 for £33.33 Hi For the first time we're offering you the opportunity to purchase our synthesizers, impOSCar2®, Oddity2® and Minimonsta® at the truly impulse price of £33.33 each. This unique offer runs until 25th December, 2019. https://www.gforcesoftware.com/gshop/products they are hardly giving you any discount for buying more than one so not quite sure why they are drawing attention to 3 for £99.99 ? Full version of Kontakt not required - neither is the Kontakt player (blah blah blah getting bored of this now ?)

https://www.waves.com/support/waves-update-plan in tiny writing ..... "The Abbey Road Collection is excluded from new plugins being added for free with a current Waves Update Plan"
-
possibly true - but I remember getting a free version via xln a few years ago and that was revalver HPse, some kind of cut down verson ?
-
run waves central to install (an update for that too!) some kind of updates to the new berzerk distortion - and another random update full version of kontakt 'may' be required ?
-
@paulo I can't be bothered to read it for you but as it's you I can cut and paste it for you ------------------------- Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues with the downloader - you can also use our manual download system: 1. Please go to www.8dio.net/manuallink 2. Insert the email address used for your purchase 3. Copy/Paste the ENTIRE serial code example: 8DioRequiemProfessional11-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------- ^^^^^^ obviously that serial isn't mine and is the demo one
-
you can do a manual download of this - read the emails etc
-
run native access to install minor fix to AAX plugin FULL Kontact is needed to install this (unless of course the same fix applies to Kontakt player - in that case go for it - basically this is a public service announcement and I don't have time or the inclination to do the research on your behalf ?️ YMMV) (kontakt says 6.2.1(r42) after this update)

YAWN https://www.plugin-alliance.com/ Brainworx bx_masterdesk $69.99 Plus local VAT taxes in Europe* Save 76% with your checkout code: code: xmas19-MASTER69-wqhnt7 Brainworx bx_townhouse $39.99 Plus local VAT taxes in Europe* Save 86% with your checkout code: code: xmas19-TOWN39-8dqlk ADPTR AUDIO Metric AB $49.99 Plus local VAT taxes in Europe* Save 74% with your checkout code: code: xmas19-METAB49-zr6so BX master desk and Lindell 80 series also on offer - don't have codes for them I think I paid $29 for most of these earlier this year - (apart from the 80 series) - so IMO these prices aren't amazing. If you have come into a mysterious inheritance from a Great Aunt and need to spend money for tax reasons then might be worth a punt at these prices - not a criticism of the plugs just a criticism of the prices in the current market GOOD NEWS - the full version of Kontakt is NOT REQUIRED WARNING - these are plugins so if you will need additional software such as a compatible DAW : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_audio_workstation to run them,

happens all the time to me - my philosophy is to pretend I didn't and move on. On a more positive note, at least you had a months use of of it - maybe that song you did in the last month is the one that's gonna make millions - so you'll be glad you bought it when you did .....and now the glass if half full
-
I still have my M1 - had it since new - only use it as a midi keyboard nowadays - also had an MS-20 Like you I bought the set - the M1 emulation is 100% - my understanding is that it actually IS an M1 inside - they include all of the extra cards too. I'd recommend it with a BUT.......(or 3!) 1 - The GUIs are not resizable and are a bit small for 2019 - compared to arturia etc very poor indeed 2 - They feel very abandoned, not really much in the way of updates for year and years and years 3- The installing/licencing is a bit painful compared to anything made in the last 10 years - I'm not even sure I could update the software even if I they did release an update - try finding an update to download for example 4 - Legacycell (one of the plugs) is a total pain to get working in 64 bit plugin mode. See the thread below ok that's 4 "BUTs" TLDR: good sound - good price - very dated
-
just worth noting before anybody WUPs their current AR collection to get the new plug https://www.waves.com/support/waves-update-plan "* The Abbey Road Collection is excluded from new plugins being added for free with a current Waves Update Plan." might be worth checking before you do it
-
interesting idea - I assume they never time out ?
-
hiding it away on the homepage like that thanks as always Larry !
-
yes - that's a very good deal indeed IMO There are also other AR plugs that are available as the free plugin. For me though I'm with @Piotr it was slightly better to upgrade to the AR bundle. Took a complicated excel spreadsheet to work that out though.
-
agreed - it's another I'm more than happy to pay full price for - small time operation - the GUI could probably do with the attention for a graphic designer but the product is great - and he's very active on his forum and very helpful with support tickets
-
can you explain "kontakt" I haven't got time to read up on what that is ?
-
just got my free plugins email from waves - spent over $100 so I get 2 my says: -------------------------------------------- Choose one plugin from this list: You are not eligible for a free plugin: see terms and conditions. And another plugin from this list: (then list of the 2nd plugins) ------------------ it thinks I'm eligible for the 2nd but not the first plugin ? anyone else have their plugs yet ?
-
My bad - (Was rushing to go to a meeting) - I misread - nothing see here ?
-
looks like that's up on everyplugin now
-
^^^^ might be worth hanging on until (if?) Koby gets the bundle deal up - only a few $ more and another useful plug
-
