  1. Wow, really smokin’ track. Well executed, both production and performance. Congrats!!

    "Sign"-Original

Nice track John, strong songwriting, and musicianship. Vocals are good, only thing you might consider is they seem like they could sit in the mix better. Kind of loud and on top of things, which is no doubt crowding your headroom and preventing the instrumental mix from being brought up more. Overall, great job!
  3. Great job, Larry! Nice production and performance, very smooth textures and vibe. And hey, live harmonica! What else could we ask for? ???
  4. If I’m understanding you right, a really easy way to do this is just highlight the desired track/events in PRV and copy it. Then paste into your new instrument track. Copy function will also copy all the related controller events.

    Nature And Love

Great job on this, Jack! Really, interesting tune, cool sounds and textures. Especially like the the organ work in intro and instrumental break.
  6. Excellent and expressive piano piece! You have mad skills, my friend! Love both versions, prefer the 2nd.
  7. First, check the interface as an input under midi devices in preferences. Second, load a VST instrument you want to trigger as a simple instrument track. Third, on your midi track, set the output to that instrument. At that point you should be in business.
  8. I hear you about EC, he definitely created beauty from ashes with this one! Thanks for listening and for your encouragement.
  9. Thanks Bjorn for listening and for the encouragement! It was a great experience composing thematically to video. The film represented strenuous activity before lighthearted fun. Thanks for your suggestions also!

  11. Hey Jack, thanks for listening. I’ll check that out.
  12. Hey John, appreciate the encouragement. It’s all good, I had a blast doing it! Thanks, Ross
  13. Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking time to check it out!
  14. Hey Daryl, thanks for listening! Appreciate the kind words. The organ is actually off a hardware unit, Yamaha Motif. I usually do about half hardware and half VST on my stuff.
  15. Hey Nigel, thanks so much for listening and for the encouraging words! I’m not really a soundtrack guy, so it was a great learning exercise for me.
  16. Uncheck all the Realtek boxes, that should do it.

    Rain

Nice catchy, hooky tune! Solid performance and production value. As has been said, definitely reminds me of early Chicago stuff, especially the horn solo. Vocals are fantastic too. All around great job, congrats on this.
  18. Wow what a totally unique cover of this DP song! Fabulous job!
  19. Beautiful music!! Really fabulous job capturing this, thanks for posting
  20. Thanks for listening Mark, appreciate you!
  21. Here a cover of Eric Clapton's classic Tears In Heaven I'm reworking a bit. Among other things, I finally got around to downloading Ample Guitar Lite, and am giving it a test run on this. Put together a simple video to go with.

    Run to the Moon

Great job! Performance and production are excellent!
  23. Hey Lynn, absolutely fantastic work you’ve done here! Very creative songwriting, and your (and Mark’s) performance are top notch. Production really fits too, well executed, as has been said sounds quite “Beatle-esque “. Kind of reminds me of Cheap Trick’s Heaven Tonight also (and that one reminds me of the Beatles, lol!). The only comment I might make is the vocals struck me as sitting too forward in the mix. Could be you were trying to make them more in your face, it just struck me with the kind of trippy, psychedelic mix you have going on that the more stark vocal kind of stood out too much. You do have the cool delay effect going on, maybe a reverb effect to push it back and blend it in a bit? Just a thought. Again, great work!
