  1. Theres a setting in windows (if u are using windows) that you can set to not allow windows to stop your usb from working sorry I forgot where it is but this issue has been discussed on the forum before. Also i had to buy a usb hub that is powered vs power via usb. These two things ended me getting that annoying message.
  2. I think thats fine i move project folders around with no problems
  3. The imported professionally mastered songs were probably not mastered to -14, but likely to -6 if thats what you are seeing. I do master to -14 but any songs i check are always much higher than -14.
  4. From the ni site... i have had to do this disable in the instrument in addition to the cakewalk setting often.... KONTAKT's Volume Resets When I Press Play in my Host Sequencer Symptom KONTAKT's Instrument volume is reset when you press play or stop in your host sequencer. Cause Some host sequencers are configured to send MIDI commands CC7 and CC10 when you press play or stop. KONTAKT can be configured to respond to these standardized commands to reset the loaded Instrument's volume. Solution Follow these steps to prevent KONTAKT from reacting your host sequencer's play / stop commands: Load an instance of KONTAKT in your host sequencer. Load an Instrument to KONTAKT's Rack. Press the wrench button on the upper left side of your KONTAKT Instrument. Click Instruments Options. In the Controller tab, disable the option Accept Standard Controllers for Volume and Pan. You can alternatively configure your host sequencer not to send the standard MIDI commands CC7 and CC10 when pressing play or pause. To learn how to do so, please consult your host sequencer's documentation.
  5. Does the master meter change when you move the master fader up and down?
  6. Can you check the projects tracks outputs and see if they are sent to the master bus or somewhere else?
  7. Since I am new to meldaproductions I followed those steps and got the freefxbundle upgrade for 11 something also. Not sure what they all are, but seems like they are popular so why not give them a try.
  8. When you say the tracks are there, do you see audio images in the tracks and you aren’t hearing them or is the track present but empty with no audio images in it? If you have audio images and hear nothing check your meter in th3 if it is supposed to be active and see if it is moving like it has input.
  9. The inputs on each kontakt must both be the same if they are both triggered by the one midi track. Check each kontakt input they should be different and be input from out of the midi track you actually want to play that kontakt

Thanks for the feedback Bapu and daryl1968. Yeah kinda circusy and romping around my first ode to the sideshow that is 2020 and probably not the last.
  14. I had my tascam 2x2 giving this message a while ago. In win 10 i changed a setting that let win turn off usb devices itself. I also bought a powered usb hub. Havent gotten that message since for the tascam. Im my case it was usb related
  15. If you know the exact name of the file you want to delete maybe you can go into the projects audio folder and delete it there

Thank you so much for your positive feedback ?. It was challenging to have to follow the arp around and make up parts to go along that i liked. I had to melodyne notes here and there to make it work. My youtube is only lyric videos of my album Room for the Weak (nod to joy division) 10 very personal songs i sing about living with chronic illness. My bandcamp has that album and like 15 or so other songs some instrumentals some singing so if you want more instrumentals bandcamp is where to look.
  17. If I remember how i did it when i tried it out a while back 1. I rendered the file as a wav format. It did not go to bandlab via exporting out of cbb 2 i uploaded my wav to bandlab and did the mastering process 3 i was able to download the mastered file but dont recall how

Thanks ! Yeah i think the arp did a lot more doodlin’ than i did ?
  21. I tried bandlab a month of cloudbounce and landr. I prefer ozone mastering where i can adjust many aspects of the process. I remember reading an online in depth comparison review that went into details of the differences but it was a while back and i forgot where. I am new to mastering been learning a few years now so not an experienced opinion, but i like ozone best

Playing around, trying to learn kontakt stuff, and this turned up. I think it is an ode to 2020, part side show, part gloom dancing together under the arp. Wearing blue gloves. Hope 2021 makes more sense. Thanks for listening, treesha
  24. Yes tracks can be hidden. Look in track manager it lists all the tracks and their status. If there are hidden tracks the track numbers stay the same like if track 1 is hidden the first track you see in track view will be track 2.
  25. Do the tracks go to any buses? If prefader i think mute wont mute
