Thanks for listening and for your comments - I appreciate it.

Hi Lynn - yeah, I really like TH-U - it's what I use on every song I record - the variety of tones are endless - always lots of fun picking out the right amp and fx for each song.
-
Hi Wookiee - I'm glad my song was a ;pleasant start to your day - thanks.
-
Thanks Harry - it does have, as you described it, a casual vibe to it. Thanks for listening.

Thanks for listening. The drums are Addictive Drums 2 - I did the best I could with programming the drum track.
-
I really liked the build up in the song as well - I especially enjoyed the lyrics - well done.
-
I enjoyed the listen - it it catchy and has a good hook with the chorus. To me, the song and mix sounded very 80's to me - nothing wrong with that.

Hi Everybody, This is a new track off of the album I'm currently working on called "The Westerly Sessions Vol. III". As always, any comments and critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. I sang the lead vocal with an AT4040 through my Art MPA Gold mic preamp - I turned the tube gain up quite a bit on this one. All the lead guitar work is my Gibson Les Paul through TH-U, my go-to amp sim. The piano parts are EZKeys. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14106084

I enjoyed the song and performance - well done.

Very relaxing and smooth - very nice. I liked your lead vocal and the guitar playing was excellent. I liked the harmonica too - always nice to hear in a song. I thought the mix was quite good - plenty of space and depth for each instrument - well done.
-
Thanks Nigel - I like both versions, but the fully produced one I think I like a bit more.
-
Yeah, Daryl's vocal harmony makes it a better song - good job guys.
-
A very cool blues song - as always, I enjoyed your vocal. Regarding the lyrics, I think you give a quite effective description of time - sometimes I wish I could freeze time, but it always keeps rolling along. I liked your phrase "time lost is never found again". Nice job Freddy - well done.

Thanks for listening Gary - I appreciate it.

Hi Freddy - I was wondering if some would prefer the acoustic version - thanks for listening and for your comments.
-
Hey Bjorn - I'm glad you liked it - thanks for listening.

Thanks for listening guys - I appreciate it.

An instrumental blues album sounds like a good idea - I'm not sure if I can come up with enough material for such a project. BTW, I'm good ole' USA, but I do read the Economist?
-
I liked the main melody Bjorn - it sounds original to me. The strings sounded quite nice in this one. Cool track - well done.
-
I thought you did the blues quite well in this one. This is a bit different from your usual posts. Guitar Rig sounds quite good, and so does EZBass.
-
Hi Nigel - like I've said before about your songs - they sound radio-ready. I enjoyed this one as well - did you sing the lead vocal on this? I enjoyed the video as well - Ursula Andress was a good looking lady back in the day.

I like the title of your song "Existence Is Suffering". I thought this was a cool electronica number - it made me think a bit of Kraftwerk. The lead synth sounded quite good to me.
-
You know - the vibe and groove of the song matches perfectly with your theme of "Joyriding". I enjoyed the piano playing in this one. The bgvs sounded nice and full in the mix. I thought the mix sounded pretty good to me - nice job overall.

Very funky - cool instrumental. There was some excellent guitar playing in this - nice job overall. The mix sounded good to me.
