Experimental indeed, like @noynekker I have to confess I was waiting for a singing bowl, of which I do have one, to appear. Interesting piece.

It is better would suggest though the Guitar is a little to forward. Did You Play this on a keyboard or program it in? If you programmed it in, which it does sound like try varying the velocities on some of the notes, as they all sound like they have the same dynamic. This is much better than the first version.

Welcome we were all noobs once. The Guitar is definitely a little to thin how did you capture it? All in all nice little number that a few mix tweaks will probably make even more of a pleasure to listen to.

Patience Grasshopper, I do occasionally call on the arsenal of Superior drum SDX's I own, but even I never know when that might be. ? Thanks for the ears and the time.
-
Which is next in line, thank you Lynn.
-
Thanks I did try a little more reverb but you know it just threw the tonal balance, it was a good thought though.
-
Enough said on that then ?? Thank you Nigel glad you enjoyed.

@freddy j thank you, it's an age related thing gas, or is it the other GAS that musicians suffer from ???. The voice like sound is part of the bass sound which results as you shift pitch.

Possibly this did feature the Jupiter Synth so this was possibly the first of four, I seem to be doing small collections, who knows. Thanks Bjorn you are most kind and generous, you do a mean job yourself, your last with the wind Duduk is very evocative and atmospheric.

I do not have a Theremin though I do have something called an Air FX which Ms W purchased for me, it is actually a bit of a bu&&er to use and some what unpredictable. Hope he gravity well of the planet did not disturb you to much, thanks for commenting and listening.
-
This is cool @bjornpdx The Duduk's sound captures the vibe and mood of the video so well, as ever you do make interesting and evocative music, do you think you could make this longer I suspect it's in there, you just need to use some of your magic to help it settle out of the ether. Not just yours, so sad to see the richest nations treating the people that make it that rich being treated so poorly.

Personally I find the lyrics a little tough to distinguish and some of the sound FX do not appear to mix with what I am seeing or the lyric's. I understand there is new Dream style which is swamped in Reverb which here is not the particular issue. At the risk of appearing ignorant can I ask what language you are signing in?

That was a very pleasant start to my musical listening day, the mix sounded well balanced here.
-
Thanks Joad that would be the Jupiter 8. Appreciate your time and ears.

Well you really do not want the Sleeper to wake, he is a nasty huge monstrous thing with a gapping maw and tentacles for a face. He goes by the name Cthulhu and intends to take over planet earth when he does wake up. To start he intends to snack on all the humans. His mates the Dark Ones are hiding on Jupiter. Thanks for the thumbs up ? glad you enjoyed it and also for the comment over on Bandlab.

@Steev Sounds like a bit of down and dirty live Blues Jamming to these furry ears and the chap on the desk, if there is even a desk, has probably had one to many whiskey sours or similar, but hey it maters not. Nice jamming sir with excellent blues groove.

The link is not as obvious as it could be thanks to YouTube. Initially if that is a Kick in the intro it does not appear to have any weight if it is a low/floor tom like wise there is no weight. It sounds like everything below about 150hZ has been rolled off at about 48dB/Octave. Is this Death Metal or the like? Probably a good tune of that type but the mix needs a little bit more a of a visit.
-
I agree you need to add a little suspense to the intro, just a few tweaks and there is a good song here to be had.

I figure you must get aggressive growling Autumn Rains there @Makke ? Nice growling guitar tone,, nice backing too.
