reginaldStjohn Posted March 9, 2023 Share Posted March 9, 2023 From the signal flow diagram it appears that you would have to use an auxilary track or a bus to put an effect in after the tracks fader. msmcleod Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 If you need an effect post fader, either create a post fader send to an Aux track, or set the track output to an aux track, then continue the processing in the aux track. It's kind of an odd thing to do though. If you really need a fader in between two insert effects, put an empty FX chain in there. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I do it all the time when I want to fade out or mute an instrument (via volume automation on the track), but *not* abruptly cut off any reverb or delay.
