Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann 860 Posted February 1 (edited) $16.80 with code GROUP After registration, my corresponding bundle upgrade prices went down by $37 Very nice deal! Brian Walton 2,021 Posted February 1 Even better deal than the release price special (which was already reasonable). Just be aware you will want an IR loader with cab impulse responses.

jude77 556 Posted February 1 Thanks, thats a fantastic price. For anybody on the fence here are a couple of great demos by Chandler who often posts on this forum.

Chris Yuzik 17 Posted February 2 I swear I read somewhere that to really use MTurboAmp you also need MCabinet, which is currently $72 on Melda. Can anyone weigh in on this?

Can anyone weigh in on this? You can use any IR loader and cabinet IRs. I actually use the free MConvolutionEZ (part of MFreeFXBundle) with MTurboAmp. You can find free IRs out there. https://www.google.com/search?q=free+cabinet+irs Edited February 2 by ALC

See below (but the main thing is yes, you do need an IR loader option in the singal chain after MTurboAmp but doesn't need to be MCabinet specifically) 35 minutes ago, ALC said: You can use any IR loader and cabinet IRs. MCabinet is cool and has some sophisticaed IR options. But the free MConvolutionEZ is great as long as you have a few nice Guitar Cab IRs. Built in on that front is a bit limited - but works great with free or paid ones.
Chandler 140 Posted February 3 Thanks for posting my videos. MTA can be used with any IR loader, so you don't need MCabinet. MConvolutionEZ is free and it will let you load any IR you want. MCab is easier to use right off the bat though and deeper(if you want to get into that). Anyway, I've been thinking of making a few more amps. Is there anything you think MTA needs more of? More clean amps? more high gain? More distortion pedals?
Marc Cormier 1,075 Posted February 3 Can’t say what is missing, Chandler—if anything—but I’m loving it so far. More time to play this weekend, so maybe some suggestions after that. Good stuff!!!
mettelus 628 Posted February 3 (edited) Depending on how detailed you want to get with IR tweaking, there are free ones all over the place. A couple good sets are God's Cab (MESA, there are a few others on that page), and Acoustic IRs (especially if recording off a piezo pickup).
