David_ 7 Posted November 27, 2022 (edited) In the song notes browser the text is shown in normal typeface. When I click on text to a change text I have put there, the display flicks onto bold typeface. This is annoying because I have fixated my eyes on a certain word or point in the text, I click on that precise point and due to the typeface changing to bold the text all moves (as it's larger) and I loose my eye contact with the location. So then have to re-read my text to re-find my location and by then I've usually forgotten what I was going to add or change. I've looked through the Manuals and Theme Edior for a "switch" but can't see one. Edited November 27, 2022 by David_
Jim Fogle 717 Posted November 28, 2022 +1. I like your idea of being able to turn off bold while editing.
SirWillyDS12 30 Posted November 28, 2022 +1... Good idea... You also loose the ability to "Mouse Scroll" and the scroll bar disappears when you click in the Notes box to edit and the font goes to bold... You have to use the arrow keys to get to the bottom when the scroll bar disappears...

SirWillyDS12 30 Posted November 28, 2022 Yes, it really can be a pain if you have a lot of "notes" in the browser...
Mark Morgon-Shaw 537 Posted November 29, 2022 You could always add your lyrics to the lyrics section in CBB
Panu Pentikäinen 101 Posted December 2, 2022 That bold text annoys me, too. Notes could with a little work support Rich Text Format.
David Baay 1,051 Posted December 3, 2022 I agree the font-switching is troublesome, but if it's not going to switch I'd like to be able to set a slightly larger font size for my old eyes, especially when working on the laptop.

fossile 522 Posted December 4, 2022 creating? == notepad++ -> create & save master text file -> copy & paste into notes. 🙂 update? == notepad++ -> edit & save master text file -> copy & paste into notes. 🙂 templating? -- check spellcheck? -- check precision content edits? -- check no loss if crash during notes edit? -- check highly reusable outside of CW? -- check cons: alt-tab to switch between CW and notepad++... lol
