pseudopop 1,073 Posted November 24, 2022 Also available at Best Service for €54, but I'll wait and see how other resellers price these before biting. Bought Vol 3 and two MIDI packs for a total of €57 last year from Time+Space. Vol 3 alone was only €43 (inc. VAT). Those were the days.
tom 207 Posted November 24, 2022 (edited) Oh might have to get one of the SDX's, which is preferred out of the New York studios?? (I have Legacy of Rock so not sure if need, I might wait for one of the newer ones to go on sale) Edited November 24, 2022 by tom
Bad Penguin 219 Posted November 24, 2022 Are any of these 3 ezx's little siblings of sdx's? Trying to avoid duplication.

I believe the newer bigger brother is Metal Machinery SDX.
Vernon Barnes 687 Posted November 24, 2022 If they put Rooms of Hansa on sale I might be tempted, but its probably still too new.

It's not particularly cheap, but the best way to get a discount on individual SDXs would be to buy a custom 3-pack https://www.toontrack.com/product/sdx-value-pack/ If any resellers give the occasional site-wide coupon, these are something to have in mind if you're looking to expand your drum sounds. John Maar 849 Posted November 25, 2022 Note that the New York Studio vol. 1 is really the discontinued Superior Drummer 2 core library (Avatar), so if you have/had SD2, you have it already, just under the Avatar name in the Toontrack Product Manager.
