Retrieving 'preferences' from Windows.old

Hi, first post (I think!) on the "new forums" ... mainly becuase I've done done much musically over the last 5/6 years! 

 

Anyway, my old PC pretty much gave up, wou;dn't boot, kept attempting to fix errors etc., new PC all set up, all programs installed and authorised (including Cakewalk) and everything was good. Having gone through the settings of a lot of the programs I use, I got most back to how I like them, except Cakewalk. 

 

I've managed to reinstal Windows on my old PC and can see all my old installations in the Windows.old folder (X1 through to SPLAT). Is there a way I can access my preferences (you know, Adio Devices, Playback and Recording, MIDI Devices, Customisation etc.), to move across to my new PC?

 

I've set up the easy stuff, such as VST paths, project templates etc., most of which I salvaged from Windows.old - but it seems I need to actually open Sonar/Cakewalk to access the preferences to mirror across?
