Mannymac 18 Posted March 21, 2019 Can someone explain how "fast bounce rendering has been optimized" in more detail please? :)
Blogospherianman 70 Posted March 21, 2019 Auto-save is saving faster for me now. I'm also enjoying being able to have multiple take lanes from different tracks open at the same time again! 😄👍

Fast bounce now has better multiprocessing and uses another core to do the disk reading. It has some moderate gains in speed depending on the project. On a disk bound project I got about a 30 second gain on something that would normally take about 2.5 minutes. It really depends on the project however. 3
InstrEd 1,938 Posted March 21, 2019 Glad to hear Cakewalk is working on improving the core and tackling bugs this past year.
James Argo 104 Posted March 26, 2019 Bandlab Assistant informs me there's new update by the time I write this post... Only couple weeks after the last update. Changelog : Build 25.03.0.20 hotfix Some 3rd party plugins not compatible with asynchronous bounce Opening templates from Start Screen do not respect the default sample rate Bouncing audio results in gaps in audio for some users Start Screen not shown on app launch for some users Note: Fast Bounce optimization in the 2019.03 release has been temporarily rolled back in order to address regressions with 3rd party plug-ins that are not multiprocessing compliant. We look forward to introducing even faster bounce functionality in a future version. Anyway it's positive indication that the dev team listened user input. Really good job on their side Thanks alot guys.
