Larry Shelby 12,390 Posted September 16, 2020 Impulse Record has updated Convology XT to version 1.20. Convology XT is a free vintage verb plugin (VST, AU and AAX) which comes with 70 reverb IRs and can load third party IRs. RSMcGuitar 579 Posted September 17, 2020 How did you find out about the update? I can't see anything on their site. Not seeing release notes either 🤔

antler 615 Posted September 17, 2020 Is Convology XT any good? I'm seeing an upgrade to the latest Sound Forge Pro that has Convology XT Complete and MAGIX Analogue Modelling Suite Plus thrown into the bundle, and just wondering if that actually adds good value. Sidney Earl Goodroe 141 Posted September 17, 2020 I got xt with my samplitude 5 suite upgrade. It is very good if you like variety and vintage reverb box sounds. The drawback for me is it seems very cpu intensive. Some of the presets cause clicks and dropouts for me but I use a large number of vst instruments in my projects. If you're just doing audio tracks mostly, you should be good. The magix plugins are very good as well. Definitely worth having in the toolbox!!! 2
mettelus 389 Posted September 20, 2020 Quick bump to to point out what Sidney mentioned above. The current Samplitude X5 Pro Suite offer also includes Convology XT Complete (all of the IRs). It also includes Spectral Layers Pro 7, so is a good bang for the buck deal, especially since it is not an upgrade or anything.
Bajan Blue 405 Posted September 26, 2020 I just downloaded the free version and gave it a try - it was just on some audio, so not stressing anything CPU wise, but I have to say it sounds excellent - shall definitely use this Nigel
