melodyne in cakewalk question

I just got melodyne 5 studio installed and working in cakewalk.

I used to use melodyne editor and it had a feature where, if the detection missed a note or rather, didn't separate out a note, you could set it to this mode that showed all these possible notes that were ghost notes or something. Anyhow, there you could select the ghost notes that were missing,  hit re-detect and it would then include those missing notes.

I can't find anything like that in melodyne 5. Any one know why?

Thanks!

Jono

Not sure, but do you mean note assignment mode?

"Now click the wrench (spanner) icon next to the toolbox of the Note Editor to activate Note
Assignment Mode. The background in the Note Editor changes color to show that you are no longer
in normal Edit Mode but have switched to Note Assignment Mode."

There you can access potential notes....."Represented by outlines (or “hollow silhouettes”), they lie at pitches where Melodyne thought about
drawing a regular, solid blob, but decided in the end to place this somewhere else, leaving the
silhouette as a hint at to what might be a possible alternative for that particular note."
