GreenLight 77 Posted June 2, 2020 (edited) Many projects have a lot of tracks, so to facilitate finding the right track quicker, how about implementing a track find/filter feature? It would change the display of tracks in real time based on searching all track names. CTRL + F or something could be used. 💡 Usage example: Type "strings" = shows all string tracks Type "slap bass" = did I have a slap bass track somewhere? (now, why would you? ) Edited June 2, 2020 by GreenLight Added usage examples
Mark Morgon-Shaw 217 Posted June 2, 2020 Good idea, you could possibly add it to the Browser or Inspector maybe ?
GreenLight 77 Posted June 3, 2020 In Cubase there's a "Find track" icon just at the top of the track list, check it out below. It basically presents an overview of all tracks and let's you jump to a track. Maybe that's better/faster than live filtering of all tracks? Â
Bill Phillips 60 Posted June 3, 2020 Using the media browser preview usually does it for me
Josh Wolfer 94 Posted June 6, 2020 What would be awesome is if this could also find clips by name. I do film work and sometimes I'm hunting through a bunch of tracks to find that "one effect" that I want to modify. This would potentially help me find it faster.
