I'd be cautious using or investing in these plugins.

Because of the above-mentioned potential malware?

No, it has nothing to do with that. Past history.

I was thinking of trying a few of these out but don't want to mess up my system. By "cautious" do you mean that the installation process wreaks havoc on your DAW?

Sorry for all the questions...

I'll only say that I'd search the internet  & get more opinions. I wouldn't put them on my machine, free or not.

Haha yeah. I’ve got Yala and I think it’s great. Analog obsession has been a bit cryptic as to why he’s stopped. Can someone shed light on what’s going on?

Maybe this is the sort of thing Hidden Symmetry was hinting at (jump to 3:30)...

On foot of this I dumped them from my system. Not worth the hassle tbh.

ROFL! This thing is truly modeled after a vintage piece of gear. The broken one. :D

I don't like a lot of what I've read about some of this stuff either. Nothing against the guy who coded the stuff. Shame too cuz muff vsts are few out there though I've already got the best of them. As for the other plugs, I'm sure we're all well stocked already and then some.. and then some more.. so I guess decide for yourself if more of the same is worth the potential bother, free or not.

I have the free ones (no pun intended) and Fetish is awesome if you dare to play with it.

I'm guessing you're talking about the plugin here? 😁
