  1. Arturia's CZ V and SQ80 V plugins are crashing/closing CbB when their GUI windows are closed. Currently getting help from Arturia but so far nothing has worked to fix it. Tried un/reinstalling removing all registry entries. Running installers and standalone as Administrator. Refreshing the data caches. Windows 10 22H2, CbB 2023.09 Anyone else have trouble with Arturia?
  2. This is a relatively new problem as of my knowledge. I started using Cakewalk for about a week now and for some reason, just yesterday, my tracks that use Analog Lab V stopped producing any sound, even my midi controller won't produce sound in these tracks. I tried troubleshooting such as checking if the tracks were set to solo, if they were muted, and restarting the audio engine. I also have another plugin installed (Komplete Kontrol), but it works perfectly fine. For now, I know nothing I could do, so help would be greatly appreciated. Midi Controller: - Arturia Minilab mkII Plugins Installed: - Komplete Kontrol - Analog Lab V PC Specs: - CPU: Ryzen 5 3400G - GPU: Nvidia RTX2070 - RAM: 16GB - Motherboard: Asus TUF B450

  7. So I recently purchased an Arturia Keylab MK2 61, works well and feels well too. However since it does not support Cakewalk, it's been a pain in the neck to use the control buttons. I found that setting the device as Mackie Control works the best. Most of the controls work, like the track commands and the transports, and the faders, encoders, and buttons control Track 1-8 perfectly, but still there are few problems that I really want to fix: Standard HUI mode: Most Global Controls button (Save, In, Out, Undo) do nothing, and the Metro button toggles the Browser View. Also, the 9th set of fader and encoder do not control the volume and pan of the Master track. Standard MCU mode: Most of the buttons do not work, some even trigger unknown commands that disable my faders and encoders. In the Mackie Control tab in Cakewalk, there are only a few mapping selections (F1-8), but nothing changes after I switch the commands of F1-8. I also disabled handshake but it makes no difference. I also tried setting it as ACT midi controller, but I'm completely lost while trying to MIDI learn and map the buttons. Questions: 1. How can I map the controls in Mackie Control HUI/MCU mode to the correct controls? 2. Which Controller/Surface mode is the best for Arturia Keylab MK2?
  8. Hi all, I recently bought an Arturia Minilab MKII to use with Cakewalk by Bandlab. The keyboard works fine as a midi controller, but I can't seem to get the pads assigned in a way that CbB understands. I'm using Arturia's Midi Control Center to create a user template and save it into one of the MiniLab's memory banks. In this software you can assign keys to the pads, actions to the knobs, colours to the pads, etc. , then select the template that has the assignments you've created. And the fact that you can assign colours means you know when your particular template is "loaded". But in CbB, the new pad assignments don't register. I wanted a controller that would let me program drums on pads instead of keys, and this one looked great. I didn't think there was such a thing as compatibility issues. Both my old M-Audio and MX49 just plugged in and worked. Anyone have any ideas?
  9. The Arturia V collection resources folder lives by default in C:/Program Data. It has grown to 12GB as new instruments have been added to the collection, particularly now some instruments like the Synclavier and Mellotron use samples. It's an annoyingly large amount of data on my SSD system drive. I noticed there was an option to set the resources folder in Arturia Software Center. Easy thinks I, move the folder to my sample drive and point Software center to it. Wrong. - Once I had done this the licenses would not synchronize. When all else fails READ THE INSTRUCTIONS https://www.arturia.com/faq/utilization/customize-your-ressources-folder-location I moved the folder back to its original location and mercifully it synchronized without problems. I am now doing it the correct way. It's a long process, there are thousands and thousands of files in the 12GB so moving them is slow.

  11. I am starting a new livestream video series I am calling The Arturia Chronicles (if I can pronounce it correctly). I will be exploring some of the instruments included in their V collection. Since I have been doing a lot of piano libraries I thought Piano V would be a good place to start. Thanks for watching and understand I am so grateful for the support and hope that you enjoy taking these adventures with me. I am learning so much as I put myself out there with each video. I am so excited about having the opportunity to share and provide the info for all of you. Enjoy!
