  1. I see that stem separation is all the rage at the moment with RipX, Serato Sample, and especially with FL Studio upping the ante recently and implementing it directly into the DAW. In the comment section of a YouTube vid I was watching on the subject recently, I was surprised to see someone mention that Bandlab has stem separation also with the Splitter tool. I have never used Bandlab so I had no idea about this and just checked it out. It doesn't sound quite as clean as some of the others on the market right now but it's a start. I'm hoping they are planning to implement this in the upcoming release of Sonar. That could really turn some heads. I'm also an Ableton user, and people are quite upset about the omission of stem separation with the recent Ableton 12 announcement. It's probably the biggest complaint I keep seeing about it. Just a thought.
  2. In Preferences >Customization >Editing >Clips you can choose which side of a TV clip gets selected when splitting a clip in two. The same options for splitting PRV notes would be fantastic. Especially when deleting portions of a note. Currently you can only have the left side selected after splitting. But only after selecting the note before splitting.
  3. Hi, First couple of days using cakewalk so this might be a stupid question, but I cannot figure out a process for splitting out each step lane in a given instrument track into multiple audio tracks. For context, I am using the MT Power Drum Kit VST, and have punched in a pattern using the Cakewalk step sequencer. What I want to do is split/bounce each of the lanes in the step sequenced pattern out into individual audio tracks. I can see there is something similar which I believe is called Freeze, but doing this bounces the who sequence as one, and not as split tracks? This was easy in cubase so assume you can do it easily here, but reading around online I haven't seen a solution that works?
  4. I'm trying to use the splitter in th3 and combine a modern and randall amp together. I wanna pan one to the left and one to the right but for some reason it's only coming out of the one side. The double amp preset has it where it's one amp coming out of each side. One minute it will work and the next it's only the one side. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
