MIDI notes in piano roll cannot be altered /edited
rchristiejr posted a topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
There are some MIDI notes in my MIDI performance (in piano roll) that "refuse" to be edited. The smart tool or other tools do not have any effect when hovering over these certain MIDI notes. Other notes can be edited in the same general area. I cannot determine velocity, etc. Any help is appreciated. Using Bandlab most current version- 8 replies

1. Duplicate a MIDI track with Events & Link checked 2. Lasso select note(s) in PRV (right-click & drag) 3. Move or edit note(s) Notes immediately to the right disappear even if notes don't touch or overlap. Notes also disappear when moving or adjusting the CC's of a lassoed note when Controllers > Select Controllers Along with Notes is checked. You don't need to lasso linked track notes but it's the quickest way to select multiple notes at once so I don't think this should be happening. To avoid this behavior you can only select notes using left-click, shift+click, or ctrl+click. EDITED for clarity

Apologies if this is a facile question, but I have am a relative beginner who has just started using keyswitches and I thought I was going crazy when the keyswitches failed. I have figured out that when my keyboard send s out Middle C (C4), Cakewalk's PRV sees it as C5 and my Ample Guitar VST (inside CbB) sees it as C3. I also have "Chordie" which confirms C4. Can anyone tell me if its possible to align these or at least see the note number CbB receives?
