  1. OK tried it, just to add a couple of notes: Another couple of articulation lines added will duplicate CC64 which is what I want. Then I can have a "Controller Track" for setting up the instruments, reverb & chorus that will sound while recording, if input echo is enabled. (Since the articulation only seems to work on playback) It's all about hearing while recording to get the feel I want. But now the edit & display is one track only. I just have to remember to disable input echo before I record the next track. The "Controller Track(s)" can be moved to an out of the way folder to keep the track view neat & clear. Looks like it will work well. (And not just for TTS) Thanks again.
  2. Ouch. Which reminds me of my favorite (old) joke: A man walks into a bar - Ouch.
  3. That looks great - thank you. I'm gonna try that one right away.
  4. I think that somebody once wrote a script to just that once upon a time. I don't know what happened to it. Yeah it could be useful. It would probably be most useful in single note lines like bass. When I quantize it can move things in a way that create more overlaps. I only quantize for start times. Also I'm thinking we are talking about removing the overlap - not the entire note.
  5. Don't want to have to copy tracks it's messy and makes for more awkward editing. Just one or more extra tracks to deal with. Too bad it can't be changed in TTS (Wondered if that was the case). This brings us back to the MIDI routing request - that would be better anyway.
  6. What if TTS was slightly modified to allow each track to change the Midi channel it played so we could layer the sounds. Maybe that would not be quite as difficult as adding midi track routing (the better solution but maybe not as feasible)
  7. Condensation yes that's me - but still I'd rather be alive.
  8. Would also be handy if these controls were saved as part of track templates.
  9. Try Ample guitar. There is a free plug in. Not quite what you asked for but it sounds like you might like it.
  10. There is a program on the site you can install on the machine that will run & tell you what you need to know.
  11. Agree with LeFOU. I have done it. It's a little iffy but it kind of works. I prefer to use a track that was played to a midi drum beat so it lines up better. I still end up doing some midi editing though.
  12. My wife said she wanted it thick & hard for bedtime. But she was thinking about a firm pillow. Oh well.....
  13. I always use crucial.com. They will tell you what you can get for the machine you have. BTW: I checked, they don't have anything that will help me remember stuff, just for the machine, Oh well.
  14. My daughter gave me this T shirt - says it all: I'm retired. I was tired yesterday. I'm tired again today - So retired.
  15. My hands get so dry this time of year. One year they were literally cracking up. But I didn't think it was all that funny.
  16. I don't know about you but I always mix in a little sugar with the meatballs because I want them to be sweetish.
  17. Make sure that at the top just above where you snipped your picture you have selected the track preset that you want, try the "All" setting. Current settings could be All, Custom. Mix, FX, or I/O. (I can't send a snip, cakewalk is not on this machine)
  18. You can control the whole band with this one little blue box: No more arguments over which songs to play.
  19. If I am remembering correctly this is the song that broke the band. It wasn't really their thing & people expected them to perform like that.
  20. It's good you will get used to it. Save the presets you like. I put mine in a sub folder of my Project directory & back it all up at once.
  21. Probably way too late but I have an Ibanez & like it.
  22. Air does work on inputs not outputs. It would only apply if you did a new recording using that function. I have a Scarlett as well. Watch you don't overload the input, it crashes my machine. (Forgetting to turn volume down when plugging in guitar) Depending on how you used your Realtek - you may have had some EQ applied.
  23. Well, maybe the only living person on the planet who didn't know - If you press Ctrl & Scroll the mouse at the same time you can move back and forth in Track view, Piano roll view or Staff view. Handy for short moves.
  24. Turn down the gain in the track controls ? It helps me.
