OOPS! The "Write" button got rid of all my previously recorded tracks. I exited without saving so my project is okay But I'm back to the same problem. Help!

I hit the "W'' Write on/off button. Now am able to hear and record. Never used that button before, don't even know its purpose. But it works now.

John Vere: I am recording TRACKS as far as I know. Don't know how to even access lanes.

Having previously recorded multiple tracks, when arming and recording another, the sound from all other tracks go silent. When I disarm the track, all the tracks have sound. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help. I managed to sort it all out. I went from WASAPI shared to ASIO.
