  1. Looks like no more freebies of any kind at Time Space. Guess I'm slow on the draw.
  2. They really need a further "Deluxe" tier between Standard and Suite. That tier should have all of Standard, adding the instruments and Max for Live, and no packs or samples. Suite is bloated and stupid expensive. They should either lower the price or give people the option of foregoing all the bloat. Who wants to pay a couple hundred dollars premium for decade old orchestral samples, etc.?
  3. Those are nice prices at Best Service. First somewhat tempting upgrade price from 9 Standard to 10 I have seen. Too bad I've already spent my gear allotment for a good while. This time of year has too many good deals.
  4. Yeah, thinking on it further, I have a number of Impact Soundworks libs that are similarly structured.
  5. Bummer on the Dronar deal going away. Guess I shouldn't have waited for them to fix the loyalty points. Much less tempted to jump on this now. Guess I'll wait and hope that better add-ons pop up somewhere.
  6. No. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/support/e-voucher-terms-and-conditions-2018/?_ga=2.164298559.1091085622.1559330054-285750822.1559330054
  7. FWIW, I don't believe they have sales on Komplete updates or upgrades (from Komplete) on BF; only on single products.
  8. Weird. Loyalty points work in GBP but not USD. Even with my points added for GBP, it is cheaper for me in USD. I sent them an inquiry.
  9. Nice to see VST3 support. Now they just need to offer me an actually attractive upgrade sale price from 9 Standard.
  10. Hmmmm. The Time Space deal also includes a free Dronar. Around 102 shipped to the U.S. Hmmmm.
  11. Wonder if any U.S. retailers will have it further discounted. I recall JRR doesn't do codes on NI. So tempted to update my K9, especially with Massive X on the horizon. I think the pending release of the Source Audio C4 has a present lock on my funds, though.
  12. I'm a huge Cyan nerd who pre-ordered this game on Kickstarter, but it is a great game and I hope y'all pick it up for free!
  13. Sorry to hijack the thread again, but wanted to say thanks. Kontakt 5 eventually started misbehaving in all my DAWs. I used the uninstall tool and reinstalled and now it works like a charm. I hadn't known about the tool before your post, so thanks very much for getting me sorted!
  14. I just checked and my Kontakt 5 (latest) is doing this in CbB since the last update, as well. As previously mentioned, I get the same behavior in Cubase Elements.
  15. Odd. The exact same thing happened to me in Cubase Elements demo, but with Kontakt 5 full. 6 Player works fine. My K5 was working fine in the last version of CbB, as well as Ableton and some other hosts, but not Elements. I have not yet fired up the latest CbB update since I installed, but will do so and report back.
  16. Thanks for the tip. Not a bad one, but I am disinclined to do that because my K5 works fine in CbB, Ableton, Reaper, etc.. Cubase Elements is the only outlier with the database anomaly. I'm only demoing Elements (to get a sense of the Cubase ecosystem) and at this point have not been seduced into buying the crossgrade, so maybe a non-issue.
  17. Thanks all. I check Native Access a couple times a week and stay current. I'm nerdy like that. I'll ask Steinberg. Was just curious if anyone else had experienced the issue. I appreciate the suggestions!
  18. Thank you. I'm quite stumped as to what the problem is with my K5. At any rate, troubleshooting basic functionality of a bread and butter plugin is not a Cubase-confidence-inspiring experience.
  19. I'm demoing Elements, although my fuzz pedal spending/addiction has pretty much negated any available funds. Nevertheless, is anyone else having problems with the Kontakt 5 (full) GUI in Cubase? All my menus and directories in Kontakt 5 are zeroed out and non-navigable when I open it in Elements. Kontakt Player 6 is fine, however.
  20. I take reviews of SSDs quite seriously. If there are a lot of reported failures or comments about heat issues, I take that much more seriously than some yelp review. Heat is the enemy of computing.
  21. Those recipes would be quite uninspiring, given that he has been dead for several years now.
  22. The reviews do not inspire confidence.
