  1. Hi all -- I recently installed Analog Lab (which is fantastic btw) and it was plug and play to get the keyboard's basic functions to work. I cannot though for the life of me get either the sustain pedal to work or the knobs/faders to work. I care less about the transport functions (which aren't mapped to Cakewalk anyway), but would like to have at least the sustain pedal work. All works as expected in the standalone Analog Lab app, just not in Cakewalk.

    Anyone have tips?

  2. Does anyone know what the logic is for how multiple takes are arrayed across takes? I am finding if I do say 5 takes, that it creates 3 new lanes on top, but records 2 of them in existing lanes way lower down, after prior takes. As I am comping vocals or solos this gets tedious as I have to go find where all the takes are.

    Any thoughts?

I'd like to be able to disable all comping mode features. I don't like being forced to cross-fade two clips, especially when they are on different lanes. If I set Cakewalk to something other than comp mode, it should remove that clip grouping feature.

The only way to stop this behavior when it happens is to split one of the clips and delete the portion that touches another clip, then it becomes independent again. Shouldn't have to do all that.

There should be a name for this feature and there should be a setting to turn it off.

Glad to stumble on this. I backed into the same workaround. Just odd.
