I have AKAI XR20 drum machine - when I record into Sonar 3x can I have all the parts on separate tracks? If so, how do I do that without recording each part separately?

Do you need a separate mix bus for music, drums, and vocals to go out to a stereo bus before the master bus?

After I EQ the tracks with EQ that's on ProChannel, is that usually sufficient for the mix, or do I need to use an additional EQ plug-in on each track?
