Right!?? But to be fair, I bought MixBox a got a whole pile of plugins I did NOT own at the time in T-Racks. Last year's group buy fixed that though.

I'll just put an instance of my T-Racks Sunset verb after if I want it, I suppose. BTY, the "expansion pack" price is what I paid for MicBox way back on a fantastic deal. That intro price ($49) for the expansion pack is stupid. @abacab Yes it is!

I see the new PB giveaway is TE's gluttonous Neural Q CPU devouring plugin. When Tone Empire gave it away awhile back, it was totally unusable - as in worse than any Acustica plugin. (It was like 25% per instance IIRC on Studio One Windows10.) The response from support was, "well, it's using 'neural' technology". You have been warned.

Hrmph. So that's how they are going to expand the available items in Mixbox - "expansion packs". I guess it was silly of me to hope they would just get added. I suppose it does take development time to slap those fancy UIs onto their existing algorithms. (grumpy sarcasm)

Mr. MSD's site is awesome. It has saved me boatloads of time and often help me find the best deal. I usually go there when I find something interesting here.

Well... I had been thinking about the MPS4.1-MPS5 upgrade when this thread popped up. And after waffling all day and FOMOing I bought it. ...Then I felt guilty about taking advantage of it. So I emailed support and told them I bought it, but hadn't installed it yet, and that I'd return it for credit if they wanted. I got this reply back from Izotope support this morning. I'm not trying to dip my toes into any of the stuff going on over at VI-control or cast judgements or anything like that, but I wanted to dispel the conspiracy that this was some sort of conniving marketing scheme on the part of Izotope. It's simple. Someone at Izotope screwed up, some of us took advantage of it, and Izotope stands behind their products and sales regardless. peaceout. 🙂 PS. Oh! I'm not sure WHEN they added it, but I didn't have MP4 when N3+ was released, and they let me upgrade to N3+ for free. I'm thinking it may have been a free update for MP4 and Nectar3 owners. (? )
