Agreed. I really like their products and collect them, but they are steep. Usually the collection upgrades are best bang for buck.

btw.. from this list i use these the most H-Comp Hybrid Compressor H-Delay Hybrid Delay IR-L Convolution Reverb all the OneKnob stuff. i got most for free. PuigTec EQs Renaissance stuff VU Meter --- i dont know why i use this. it shows the same levels as what Cubase shows in the meter. So i dont know if i am just stupid.

yup. it comes down to that. For the record, I have never paid for WUP. They all work fine. I upgrade when Waves offer freebie. So far there are a handful (about 5 or 6) that I use in a lot of projects. Light on CPU and provide good results.

my guess is GR7 should have newer and fancier effects. It's always been a great effects tool. As someone who uses Mixbox a lot, I would say, it makes sense to get it if you are a user of TRacks. It's very handy to have access to those modules all in one slot. In my case, I am a big user I got pretty geeky with it. I would read the IKM manual and then I dig up other articles on the units it emulates and go in there and tinker to see what it all can do. . So I am familiar with the stuff I like to use. I have other stuff in my collection, but defer to Mixbox as its much lighter on CPU compared to some other stuff i have. YMMV.

I have to admit, I have been using more Waves plugins lately. as they are light on CPU compared to others i have. But I think i'll pass. Wait for more freebies from Waves.

I am an drum addict. listening to the sounds. My only thing stopping me is, I got IKM Sampletank Beat Machines a while back and actually use it a lot. I keep feeling I have these sounds already.

Thanks. I was looking at the pedal, and am still on the fence on getting it. I am trying to not accumulate more gear in my studio and just trying to use what I have. (I have too much already). I don't play live anymore, but I do session work and usually just use whatever the person has in their studio to do my parts. They all have some sort of guitar multi fx box and I can dial in whatever they want out of it. But I do want to get into TX some more.

Can anyone confirm, if one gets SE, are you eligible to upgrade to Max one day?

We are living in the age of bullshit. Everyone is full of it these days. What I have found lately is that I am using the plugins that come built in and bundled in my DAW more often than usual. Works just fine now that you kind-a know what you are doing with some of them.

ohh.. now if you would only throw in a free copy of ToneX or make it into some kind of GB or somethin'.. and I am game. In the market to replace my old studio monitors.
