Tony Banks is a genius. Most amazing player ever. The music of Genesis hit me hard once I started delving into their back catalog.

Note: "Sorry, JamPoints may not be combined with this special offer."
yup. same here. i think i will wait for a GB or hardware bundle deal. Though, if you get it this way, one is eligible for upgrade pricing to Max should you want it one day.

Check your email .

I have both Modo bass 1 and 2. Modo 2 sounds much better.

Indeed it is...
You're right 8 track to full Studio is $259.
Don't know what the heck I was thinking... (multitasking mental error)
Still better than $299 non-upgrade price.I have BT studio 8 track ver 3. I see following prices.
259 USD / 259 EUR for studio
129 USD / 129 EUR for producer
69 USD / 69 EUR for essentials.
I see an offer for upgrade to 5 which I guess is free. Should I bother? Did they remove things from 3 that were useful?

throw in the new morely. one of the pedals is already part of AT5 max.

I checked the drums. They are about the same as before on BF. Actually, a little higher now.

Actually 2012, as part of the Electro-Suite bundle, then set loose in 2014.
I have never seen it on their site. Maybe I missed it. Or is it legacy?

I've never found the T-Racks tape machine plugins that amusing, perhaps because I've never used a porta Studio or any of the cassette recorders when I was starting with music. Plus they consume Acustica levels of cpu for no apparent reason.
This might help you understand how to use them and what they do, They emulate some pretty complex stuff under the hood and you got to really tweak the settings to get what you are after. Just leaving it on auto does not work well. The way I use them is I get what i think is the right tape distortion vibe for the track, then i render and print and remove the plugin. This frees up resources and also makes you commit and you don't go backwards and keep tweaking. then later on, i might use it again on the mix bus.
Its not the best solution if you just want obvious analog tape effects. There are things like XLN RC-20 or the free one from izotope called vinyl. I also use the IKM Mixbox modules Tape Cassette and Lo-Fi for that as well.

How old is this plugin?

now i have one different download manager for each day of the month.

wow.. that's a weird development. Yamaha/Steinberg partnering with Arturia and pulling a NI like partner deal. I wonder what might be getting cooked up in the couldrun in the back rooms.

Excellent!!! :):):)
@Peter - IK Multimedia agree too. The way IKM market that SSRS mixbox expansion makes it really hard for non IKM customers to understand where it is and how to buy it.
Its not easy to find it on the main page
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/trsunsetsound/
and you actually have to hunt for it to find it buried

The CSR stuff is quite good.
Yeah. It’s good for the price. But this is pretty old software.

I use the CSR reverse reverb a lot. I don’t know why , but I like it.

Thanks. I thought the demos sounded really good, so with your recommendation, I'm going to make that my first selection from the list. After that, I have one more plugin to choose. Do you use or have you demoed the X stuff (AmpliTube X-Space, X-Vibe, etc)? That seems interesting.
Especially when it comes to amp sims, I rely heavily on factory presets (I really dont know how to match up component pieces well, so I just tend to tweak presets or swap out effects), so I'm always a bit cautious with stuff better suited for people who tend to be good at creating their own effects chains. That's part of why I bought MixBox. It contains a bunch of presets with effects chains already set up. I'm hoping it will serve as a good tool for me to learn hoe effects chains are set up (as opposed to say, EZmix, where I merely choose a preset for a certain application without looking at the effects chain).
Yes. i have all the X pedals in software form. They are pretty cool. They have lots of presets in them. i tend to use the Vibe and Time mostly.

Cool. But I am out. Unless IKM expand it to include some new SampleTank stuff or the new AT Morely, I literally have nothing to pick.
