There's another page on this website that has DX7II patches:
    https://yamahablackboxes.com/collection/yamaha-dx7ii-fd-synthesizer/patches/
You can import the 'voice' patches (16 banks) into FM8 but not the 'performance' patches.

    Another source of DX7 Patches:
    https://homepages.abdn.ac.uk/d.j.benson/pages/html/dx7.html#patches

4 Brian Eno DX7 patches -  these are just the settings, you'll have to enter them manually and save them)

    or download the PDF here:
    https://reverb.com/software/presets/reverb/2715-brian-eno-yamaha-dx7-patches

nice. added to my bookmarks to analyze.

I wonder if I'm alone with this but I just hate using ugly or old looking plugins, no matter how good they sound. I know it's irrational because the beauty of the user interface has no effect on the sound but using plugins that look pretty just feels so much more satisfying when working with them.

I am fine with its GUI. But its small and hard to use on my setup. But if you read the manual on how to use it, It's an amazingly designed software synth. miles better than anything NI has released recently IMO.

  4. wow. that is an insane deal on one of the best instruments there ever was. its not updated and i think it might be NI legacy abandonware, but if you have no need for new gui and are using an older system and dont have komplete, this is amazing

Cubase not included - although there was a sale last month.

Just speculating (!) but I suspect Cubase 13 is going to drop very (very?) soon.

Assuming they do a grace period, as they have previously, then they don't want the sale upgrades to be in the grace period hence they did the Cubase one earlier  - also meaning we are not going to see Nuendo 13 until November.

Again, assuming that they do the same as previously - if you are looking to upgrade from an earlier version of Nuendo then this might be a good time....but don't activate until N13 is announced/released - they usually (!) give you the latest version when you activate.

i am waiting for Cubase upgrade deal. hope the new 13 is stable

We reduced most of our prices recently, including upgrades that dropped more than $100 lower than they had been on flagship products so things have been changing for the better and likely will continue to do so.  There are also incentives for loyal customers beyond just JamPoints like the additional $50 off we offered for MAX users to upgrade (off of already-reduced pricing during the aforementioned price drops) and the current $100 off the lowered upgrade pricing on Total Studio 4 MAX for 3/3.5 MAX users that we've been mailing to customers (on a Total Studio package that added a lot of products yet still lowered every price point by hundreds compared to 3/3.5 MAX pricing).

cool. i am still holding out for some hardware deal incentives.

Thanks. Yes well, I guess it's not for me then.

I'm actually middle-aged. I'm 50. Just into more modern music.

hmm.. it works in modern productions. all depends how you use it. i know one EDM chill step producer who uses Arturia Solina a lot. and thats a really old instrument.

Or because this is FX Pick & Mix Group Buy specifically for T-RackS and AmpliTube effects... We have been having group buys for years, haven't had bad luck with them so we'll probably keep doing them.

Also, we're at 8 for the price of one now and close to the next tier.  If it isn't for you, understood, but for those interested the pace is picking up which is expected once people realize that if everybody waits, nobody wins... Again, not remotely our first rodeo.

True. Hey, you folks could also add individual Amplitube / ToneX items that are available in  Custom Shop. That I believe was part of the old group buy a few years ago. This allowed customers who were not AT5 Max owners to pickup missing items.

  9. I dont get it. is the offer on all upgrade version or only certain ones like artist and elements to hook people into it. I see a red cross out in the upgrade from Artist but not in upgrade from 11 or 10 pro?

TONEX rules.  Low CPU usage and amazing sound and feel (with select captures) and my favorite stuff isn't what IKM captured.

The only problem with the deal is you will want to get the pedal which will in turn make this purchase redundant.

is there a point to having a pedal if you dont play live? just curious.

Note: "Sorry, JamPoints may not be combined with this special offer."

yup. same here. i think i will wait for a GB or hardware bundle deal. Though, if you get it this way, one is eligible for upgrade pricing to Max should you want it one day.

    Indeed it is...
You're right 8 track to full Studio is $259.
Don't know what the heck I was thinking... (multitasking mental error)
Still better than $299 non-upgrade price.

I have BT studio 8 track ver 3. I see following prices.

    259 USD / 259 EUR for studio

    129 USD / 129 EUR for producer

    69 USD / 69 EUR for essentials.

I see an offer for upgrade to 5 which I guess is free. Should I bother? Did they remove things from 3 that were useful?
