I'm sorry if you took it wrong but what you're asking about sure looks like legal advice since it concerns contracts and you were asking for

Bless your heart.... You joined just now so that you could resurrect a 2 year old dead thread on a subject that has been beaten to death for almost 6 years just so you can bitch and moan. Priceless.

VST Scan is hanging on printer utility
Byron Dickens replied to Eric Parsons's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
You should only scan locations where VSTs are installed and you should never scan anything else. -
Serves him right.

I learned a long time ago that "new" stands for "never ever worked."

Question about Channel Strips, Busses and Fx
Byron Dickens replied to Stuart Smith's question in Q&A
There's most of the problem. 1) Do you really need 10 guitar tracks? 2) If so, you need to start freezing tracks b/c things like Guitar Rig are hungry suckers. 3) To reiterate what John said, you should think more about what processing you can eliminate rather than what you can add. Your mix will thank you. -
Too bad you can't track them down and cut them MFs

The only logical explanation for that sort of thing is demons.

Band in a Box share you thoughts!
Byron Dickens replied to John Vere's topic in Instruments & Effects
When I use BIAB, it is as an idea generator and then only for stuff that is outside what I usually do. By the time it gets to "tape," it has been heavily edited and hardly resembles what I was given. -

My apologies as well. I tend to be very blunt and direct and that doesn't serve me well when I jump the gun instead of finding out more information first. We have had so many people come by here and blame the software when they're trying to do things like run it on a dinosaur machine that is already breathing it's dying breaths or using multiple instances of ozone and things like that. I made an unwarranted assumption and forgot how to spell assume.

This isn't a Cakewalk problem, it's a your keyboard problem.

You know what really baffles me the most? Those assholes who complain that you aren't being helpful when you link them to the exact page in the documentation or to a clear, concise video that completely explains their exact question.
