  1. Is anyone else having this problem:  When you open Miroslav Philharmonik 2 or Syntronik, it defaults to the last-used sound-file path and displays an error message saying its sounds cannot be found.

True you can redirect it to the correct path and rescan, but why should we have to do this everytime?  Is it possible that both VIs share the same path?

No...in the plugin info window...when loaded onto a track in Cubase, it shows 4.9.1

    Okay, I see that too.

So, the problem does seem to be the way Cubase reports the version number.  Good to know.

I just verified that mine shows 4.9.1 as the version in Cubase...

Wow, this is truly bizare.  How can Cubase report version 4.30 but then load the plugin that clearly shows 4.91?  My god, I'm in the Twilight Zone!!!

Oh well, back to troubleshooting...I'll report my findings when I'm done.  Thanks again, Larry.

  4. Hmm, just noticed that the various choices for stomps, amps, insets, etc. displayed when clicking the gray buttons in the top red bar do not correspond with the graphic routing display at the bottom that opens when you click "Prest Browser".  I would think they'd be the same, no?

No...there are three formats that can be installed

    VST - 64 bit
VST3 - latest VST format used by Cubase
AAX - 64 bit Pro Tools

I believe Cubase only does VST3 now...

So, if you didn't install the VST3 current version of the plugin - 4.91 VST3
then you won't see it, but will see the LAST VST3 Version that you installed,
    which is apparently 4.30.

If you are using Cubase ALWAYS install the VST3 Version when installing.

Yes, I always install VST3s, when they're available.  And I just checked to be sure: the Plug-in Manager is, in fact, showing that the installed version is a VST3 and located in the correct folder.

At this point I'll just uninstall it and start from scratch.

As always, thanks for the help!

  6. Would someone please tell me which version of Amplitude 4 is reported in Cubase?  Mine shows 4.30 but IKM's website says the latest (which I just installed) is 4.91.

I'm wondering if the plugin version is not the same as the standalone (which I did not install).  Thanks.

  7. Downloading, installing, and fixing all the problems to get this stuff to work properly was a real f-ing nightmre!  It took 3 days; it should have been a few hours.  WTF?

How could IKM be at version 4 of some of their products and still not have a downloader/installer?!?  They obviously don't care about their customers.

This was my first and definitely my *last* IKM purchase.  What a huge mistake!!!

It was worth it to me to get the "Max" designation.  The reason being is that, going forward, the upgrade
to the next version will be pretty reasonable to get new added products, and I won't have to buy
anything until there IS a new vesion, and it should be a LOT cheaper that way.

Hey Larry, actually I was wondering why Carlos thought is was *not* a good deal.  I thought I may be missing something obvious.

Until the 30th of April 2020, download the plugin and receive a lifetime license containing two Virtual Cabinets.

The cabinets are the Brit VintC (inspired by a closed-back Marshall® Slash Signature 4×12″ with Celestion® V30 speakers) and the Watt FanC (inspired by a closed-backHiwatt® 2×12″ with Fane speakers).

Torpedo Wall of Sound is a convolution-based cabinet speaker simulator. The software emulates the entire guitar recording chain, including the speaker, microphones, preamps, and the studio room acoustics. Torpedo Wall of Sound is available in VST, VST3, AU, RTAS, and AAX plugin formats for digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. Both 32-bit and 64-bit plugin hosts are supported.

  10. If you didn't recieve a download link via email, just login to your account, go to My Orders/Review orders, and then click on "Download File(s) >>>" under the bright red "View or Change Order" button.

Also, if anybody has the issue with the sounds that don't unlock, I'm told if you re-run the Authorization Manager with your CS serial again now it should resolve that for you now.

This made the new ST 4 CS content available to me. Everything is working now -- thanks.
