longtime cakewalk SONAR user here currently running SONAR X3 and i'm having a similar issue with unable to open audio record device; device may no support the current project's audio format or may be in use"; after closing that prompt i get another prompt stating 'the above audio/midi device was disconnected from your system. one major point of confusion with this issue is originally this happened with a full audio track session, but of late i'm getting this message with sessions containing midi information ONLY. i saw above where someone asked was this was this 32 or 64 bit version of X3, and i'm not sure but why would this be relevant with only midi data? i have a lot of songs that didn't/haven't made it to the audio recording stage and this is proving quite problematic; using ASIO with an RME UCX FIREFACE with firewire. i also run reason and haven't seemed to have any midi issues with it. any insight is greatly appreciated
