  1. It was working a few weeks ago when I tried it. Unfortunately, I gave away my copy of Studio One 2 already. (I own Studio One 4) They said they had no problem registering it and using it to buy the upgrade. Could be they aren't checking it as much with the Covid shutdowns.
  2. Frankly, it is probably worth it for even the regular price. That is, if you want to save it for the group buy. I think the value is $99, so your group buy freebies would be any of their products that are worth $99 or more.
  3. They don't always know if you bought something or got it free. So they go by registration normally. I actually got into the group buy the first time accidentally by registering something I picked up on sale but forgot about (I travel for work and don't always bother until I'm home and have time.) Turns out it was registered in the timeframe of the group buy.
  4. Well, as of yesterday. I may be saving this for the group buy though. I got the SN from Computer Music yesterday when I sent in the request. I should note, I have been a subscriber for a while.
  5. The White 2A (Dec 2018) was only good until Jan 2019. And the Black 76 (April 2018) was only good until May 2018. There is no date on the April 2020 Vintage Tube Model 670.
  6. Haven't tried yet. I'll let you know.
  7. I should really do this. I just gave away a couple of Studio One 2 Producer S/N's that came with the Xchange Bundle. I bought it for the Groove3 pass at $40. I already have SO4 and it was easier just to give it away. I've been mostly afraid to sell in case I get screwed, but really for something like this where I would never use it anyway, I might as well try and see how it goes. Thanks
  8. I spend way too much on music stuff that I don't really use. Sigh. 😖 But, every so often, something really great comes along and makes the deals I bought worthwhile.... 😃
  9. I own Mars & Venus and they sent me the link. Very nice of them.
  10. I keep waiting for the cheap upgrade from 10 to 11. I don't use it enough to buy it full price. Though I do remember when, back before Kontakt, Reason was my main virtual instrument. Just never got into using it as a DAW.
  11. Problem is, I have Melodyne Editor and Studio, RX7 Standard, and Ozone 9 Advanced. I also may have a version of Convology, but not sure which. But I would really like to learn how to use spectral layers. Truthfully, I really need to learn how to use what I have before I buy anything more. Sigh.
  12. Interesting. The description doesn't match a piano. I have too many pianos. (it's a good thing they are all virtual or my house would be really crowded.)
  13. I ponied up the $249, but if it goes down to $199 next week, I'm going to be really annoyed. But I was kind of following Bapu's reasoning. Not really getting it for Samplitude so much as the other stuff. I did think it was probably good to get it while it still came with Spectral Layers 6, just in case 7 doesn't work well at first.
  14. Until they make them in AAX, they aren't really worth a lot for me. Cubase Pro's chord track does most of this stuff. I really need stuff like this for ProTools, but no one makes them.
  15. That's a great price. I have this and it is really useful.
  16. Yes, I got the full version last year during one of the 70% off sales. Great deal, but I haven't really used it much. Thanks for the recommendations. I will try one or two.
  17. What's a good starter to get? I don't really need anything, so I'm always looking for something different, if that makes sense. Thanks
  18. Hmm. Only one thing I don't have. I'd recommend Watchmaker any time for that price.
  19. Thank you! Best deal for Groove3 around. Most of the other stuff is useless to me. As in I have most of it already.
  20. Having problems with their website. I guess it is being hit hard.
  21. But I've always used Reason in another DAW. Just not as a VST. But since I mostly use it in ProTools, I've just stuck with 10 and haven't bothered upgrading yet.
  22. Part of me wants to buy it because it is a great deal and all. But they all sound alike to me. And like all the other drone/soundscape libraries I have and never use. And maybe it's that the sound file they have to listen to doesn't do the sounds justice. I can't tell.
  23. This! I regularly buy there and still forget which is better.
  24. These are normally 5400 RPM drives that aren't good for running samples. Also because of the size, it will really make it slow if you are running more than couple tracks from it. (platter drives can only read one thing at a time) Depends on the size of the buffer though. Great for back up and maybe for your movie collection. I may have to pick one up since I swear I have more than 8 TBs of Kontakt libraries. I keep filling my back up drives.

    XLN midipaks

What I usually do is buy the "Custom Pak" from a outside vendor like JRR. You can't buy it from XLN if you already own AD2. It has AD2 plus your choice of 3 drum sets, 3 midi paks and 3 kit pieces. It is a great deal. I've done it twice in the past without a problem.
