  1. Probably very affordable. I have it and it does sound great. For the Wurli connoisseur though ultimately Broken Wurli by Soniccouture compares very well on sound (but not on price).
  2. I particularly use Sonicouture’s Broken Wurli. Not free, not necessarily low cost although sales do occur. A terrific sounding Wurli - even including the torn speaker mode. Very Supertramp sounding, or Steely Dan.
  3. I saw it separately. He’s a talented and interesting guy.
  4. I’ve used this on a lot of songs. Certain bus presets help a lot and the dry/wet mix allows to dial as appropriate.
  5. This is a "you snooze you lose" deal. Just grabbed it at this price. Thanks @Abstract !! A number of "yep, it's worth it" videos out there. Here's one.
  6. Blackhole is a dream. It sounds so good. At that price if you don’t have it yet you’d be missing out if you don’t grab it.
  7. Whoa! Love their stuff. Thought they had retired.
  8. That’s what I was wondering.
  9. I’m enamored by this - the GUI is snazzy. Even though it has the “all the buttons/knobs you can cram in a GUI” that PA favors. For $29 I feel GAS to add this. My common sense is telling me I would never use it. And I would not enjoy all the knobs. Nevertheless, I’m thinking about it today.
  10. Larry has been radio silent longer than this before. We can gradually refill our wallets as we await his return.
  11. I have 1 and 2 as well and have enjoyed experimenting with them. Heavyocity is consistently great. I haven’t actually put either 1 or 2 in a song so far. I can wait for 3 at a future date when Larry has officially posted it’s at a deal price.
  12. Sale is through July 31. Just tried it today (Aug 1) and still the sale code works. In case you forgot about this one.
  13. If you have none of those that is a good price for them compared to their original prices. Some good ones in there.
  14. Me too. I do occasionally open old songs in Cakewalk to move them into Studio One, that’s it for Cakewalk usage these days for me.
  15. He's on the phone with the Fender CEO
  16. Here's an analogy that comes to my mind when thinking of some comparative points raised on Unify so far. "It's the same thing statement": In my DAW I have chairs. They are nice to sit in. But, if I use Unify, which is a car. It has nice seats. I like the seats in Unify, they are comfortable, but they are pretty much the same use as the seats in my DAW. What is missing in that statement is that the seats in Unify are in a car. Meaning you can go places and into other dimensions - fast. Unify often has multiple knobs pre-wired so that you can jump to automating all sorts of sounds and filters in one knob motion. And there are lots of knobs - and they are labeled as to what they do! So you can really take a combination of patches and presets and get them to come alive. It has Jitter Box, Midi Box, BlueArp, the list goes on and on. You can assign keys in the lower range to certain sounds, a key range in the middle to other sounds/layers, and keys in a higher to still other sounds - all saved in an instantly recallable preset. Unify splits each VST into separate cores so performance can be much better than putting the VST straight in the DAW. When you stack a combination of VSTs in layers this performance aspect really becomes a win. So it's not so much apples to apples. "I can do the same thing in my DAW" misses the other dimensions of where the song can go when using Unify. And, actually, of course, you can have multiple Unify tracks in a song, so that's something to stack!
  17. @John Maar you haven’t already been using Unify? Where have you been? By the way, Epic Choir is Unified and will be one of the subjects on today’s PluginGuru livestream.
  18. I have a Taskbar Toolbar (folder shortcut) one each for Arturia and for Native Instruments. And a third one for Music Apps for many of the others. (Actually with sub folders in that one like for Cherry Audio, Spectrasonics, iZotope etc).
  19. If you choose to follow them on Instagram
  20. I’m looking at the two delays like X-Echo. I have plenty of delays. Nevertheless, I like what I see and hear especially with X-Echo. Looks very intuitive And useable.
