Best song title ever, and it lived up to it! It was peculiar, in all the ways I really dig.

If that's what somebody who sucks sounds like, I wish I sucked like that, too.

Well, that woke me up! Awesome job.

Nice job!

Oh, I love this. So much going on here and everytime a new instrument was added to the layers it got better and better.
I'm certainly not qualified to critique anything about the mix other than to say it sounded great to me.
Only two small nits were there was something about the sound of the horns that struck me as a little off when the came in at 0:42. When other instruments come in later though, I didn't notice as much. Other thing is I loved the solo piano section in the middle, but for me it when on just a little too long without adding something else back in.
Great job!

I wouldn't know how to categorize this. I usually hate worrying about categories.
Awesome tune, whatever category it is. Sounds ready for the radio to me.

That's pretty impressive from a tablet. Looked like a nice cheery vacation, too!
Cheers,

For 15 bucks, FL Studio Mobile is a crazy bargain. It's a blast to lounge on the couch, poke at the tablet screen and fiddle with synths.

You did a marvelous job in this tribute to your father. It makes me sad that I haven't done this for either of my parents. You may have inspired me to do that! Congratulations.
Thank you so much. If my song has inspired you in any way, well, that makes it all the more worthwhile.

Very good composition. I would agree you acheived your goal and created a fitting tribute to your father, and, perhaps hit on a theme for that generation in the process. Really enjoyed the song and the orchestration.
Regards
Thanks, that means a lot to me to hear that.

Really well done. I enjoyed that a lot. That's some fine guitar playing.

That's some fine noodling, indeed.

Very cool and evocative. Reminded me a little of the soundtrack from the game Superbrothers Sword and Sworcery, which is one of my faves.

This is a little tune that I wrote while on vacation last week. I actually did the whole thing on my tablet using the FL Studio Mobile app which I love ( I hope I don't get banned for admitting that 😀 )

I love the horns, the solemn mood of the tune is great.
Thanks, Joad. I played trumpet in high school band and I've always loved the sound of french horn and trumpet, so I'm really glad you liked the horns.

I liked this. You must have remixed and put the piano more up front because it sounds perfect to me. Really good work and a wonderful tribute to your father.
I liked how it built up, came back down, then up again with the final ending becoming quiet and calming. I liked the ending. Very well done.
Thanks! This is still the original version. For the most part I think the level of the piano is fine, but there are a few spots where it's carrying the main theme and I want to bring it forward since it does get a little buried by the orchestra. I just haven't had a chance to work on it.

Very nice tribute to your Father . Your song exhibited some very nice classically inspired arrangements and musical motifs through t its play .
A couple of time I thought the tympanist volume was a tad high . In addition to that I also thought the marching snares could have come up in places ...
I'm a fan of those type of snares because when I joined band in Jr HS they didn't have guitar so the made me play snare drum 😅
anyway very cool song ,
Kenny
Thanks, Kenny. I kind of knew I was cranking the tympani a little, but I love the sound of that low boom
On the other hand maybe with the snare I was a little nervous because of the great Cardinal drum controversy 🤣

Great tune, very mellow but kind of stirring. You might make the piano louder when it's in there, as now it takes a back seat to the orchestration.
cheers,
-Tom
Thanks so much, Tom. That's exactly what I was aiming for. I agree, I think I need to bring the piano forward a little.
