How to do Pitch correction on a track

I think I have solved this problem myself  

I'll keep you posted if I have any other problems

Trying to record Audio   I am using aline out from a Yamaha Keyboars into a Behringer Mixer QX1202USB

Using a Behringer UCA 202 to go into my laptop, through my RCA in/out sockets from mixer 

I have tried all drivers in preferences  MME   WASAPI   Both,  ASIO   Still no success

Its doing my head in    

When overdubbing on track 2 I am also recording track 1   

Why ??? 

How do you create silence in part of a track
