    2023.09 Early Access now available

    We're pleased to announce Early Access of 2023.09! This release is primarily a maintenance release and includes over 50 bug fixes for user reported issues. 

    Please note:

    Version 2023.09 will likely be the last update to Cakewalk by BandLab (CbB). CbB will eventually be discontinued as future development and support will transition to the upcoming Cakewalk Sonar release. If you wish to continue to use CbB, you must update to the 2023.09 version when it is released to the public. Earlier versions will cease to activate in the future.

    Version 2023.09 currently does not support offline activation, so your computer must be online to activate it.

    If you have encountered any of these issues, please check out this release and and confirm that your issue is resolved before we release the official public version. 

    Please note that Early Access installers are update installers, which only update from a specific version. To install the 2023.09 Early Access build, you must be on the latest public release of 2022.11 or later.

    Just an FYI - 


    I bought this - figured I'd give it a try as Amazon has a very simple return policy 

    Received it yesterday - It is a full 2TB capacity - I'm on Windows 11 and it is working fine there - no great transfer speed but on par with other USB 2.0 thumb drives I have - 

    Obviously can't speak to the longevity of the drive yet - but, upfront it plugged in and worked without any issues 

    Can't say I'm ready to put any critical files I need exclusively on it but will dump some back-up data and see if it maintains integrity -

    This is primarily a maintenance release that includes fixes for a few user reported issues. It also includes several optimizations and improvements to the behavior when using Track/Bus Solo, exclusive solo and solo override functionality, especially when used in more complex routing scenarios utilizing aux tracks and sidechains.

    And Not to shoot the messenger or attack you personally - but for IK Multimedia the company - that is ridiculous and is NOT specified ANYWHERE! That really is ridiculous! Had that been specified prior to the Group Buy ANYWHERE - there is no way I would have participated to the level I have.


    I am now stuck with a bunch of useless (to me) 'free' promotional selections. 


    This really does punish long time customers who already owned several products.


    ccLary has long been critical of the company - I have to say he was clearly correct all along.

    Hey @Peter - IK Multimedia


    I know you've been kind enough to help some folks out here when able 


    I have seen a few posts about the Group Buy Promotion choices that are 'greyed out' or unable to be chosen. I also saw it suggested in such as situation to submit a support ticket and you could get that fixed.

     
    So I did that and the response was - it is intentional so you do not select products you already have - the PROBLEM is there are a BUNCH of selections that I do already own that are available to select (NOT 'greyed out') - and only SOME (the ones I'd like to select) that are unavailable.

     
    I haven't seen it stated anywhere that your 'free choices' were limited to only certain products based on your individual account. If it is listed on the Group Buy page as an available choice seems reasonable to expect I could select anything from that list. Currently I am not able to do this. 

    If there is anything you could do to help it would be greatly appreciated.
