  1. Someone please post the link to manual installers, again. I don't mean the ones in our accounts i.e. https://id.korg.com/users/products as they aren't the latest for me. I mean the korg website where I can find each installer separately, if I don't use Korg Software Pass. It had being posted once here on forum but I can't for life find it anymore, it's probably buried somewhere deep in the past threads now. Thx
  2. UNSUB are a new company who claim to have created an AI based software system that takes any subscription plan and converts it back to perpetual licences. We have the details. http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/production-expert-1/new-company-converts-plugin-subscriptions-back-to-perpetual-licences
  3. Yeah I was going to say there are already good alternatives for all you mentioned
  4. I can see how established studios would be ok to pay Waves subscription but I can't see how freelancers without steady income (from making music) would want to pay a steady outcome for it. And since homestudios (i.e. freelancers) market is growing so much, how many big studios are being shut down because of this trend? So to me Waves is taking a risk here, we shall see. You don't have to have the "Scheps" plugins to make great music, there's so much to choose from a wealth of great alternatives! There's no real *need* to have the access to Waves catalog if you want to produce music, the only case that I see is if someone is already heavily dependent on the Waves catalog because he's been using (too) many in all his projects down the past, then it could be hard to pass or at least it will be quite an effort. If your fairly new or sparse to Waves then it's easy to replace them with anything good out there.
  5. Hi Erik, just a small clarification. On the other thread I just gave an example with discovering recently a bug in the comping track where I think Cakewalk is not correctly saving small edits done on a comping track when saving a project, so different subject altogether. As to your issue, I have had trouble with synths stopped playing the sound but I believe my case was different from yours. When hit play I got a pop sound then silence, red pegging meters indefinitely and the sound of the whole project would stop until reloaded. I mentioned Dexed as an example of plugin it happened with and someone popped in saying it's a buggy developement, but at the same time Plugin Guru doesn't find it buggy enough to not bundle it with his great piece of software, and besides others had that happened with different synths as well. Anyway, different case again, it seems. I remember having once a project with MIDI (or Instrument?) tracks, that were associated to particular synths, playing wrong synths as if every output got phantomely reprogrammed. Unfortunately I didn't pursue this and have rebuilt the project from scratch. This may or may not be based on the same source of the issue, idk. All I can do is promise that the next time something like this happens to me I'll pay more attention to it and report back. Typically I like to use combination of both, the instrument tracks and additional MIDI tracks sourced to them in the same project, but I do use synths different to yours. Would be absolutely glad to see some issues narrowed down if we can work together on them, just find the recipe and post for others to try 👍
  6. Dang! Someone has used the code while my Waves website wouldn't open Anyone else with unused Echosphere code? And RVox if anything
  7. Nice gesture. I tried the Eddie Kramer Channel but the code has been already used by someone else
  8. What's their focus on in the questions? I have this comp so I don't expect getting second piece but if there's anything about support quality then I'm all in for filling the survey! But then again someone from the said support team while processing my form will probably strip out any complains
  9. My most recent experience is with comping. I have couple takes, put them onto take lanes in a track then "split" them into portions with the comping tool. Select best portions and voila the master take is ready, so far so good. Actually not yet, I need to extend or shrink one or two portions, I don't mean slip-edit but actually change the audio length, maybe also slide only the audio content inside other portion forth or back a tiny bit. And here's where the problem starts, you can't save project like that cause you'll loose the edits, on reopening it will be a mess. Either bounce the track instantly while it's still playing fine or you'll have to redo the whole track after saving project. Glad I remembered most of it but it was an unexpected one. Maybe Cakewalk wasn't meant to save the edits very reliably, I hear people here often advise to bounce, but if so then I think it just should. Haven't had problems with freezing like yours although I remember a few times when freezing wasn't available for some tracks and I couldn't figure out the reasons, but I didn't give much enough attention to it at those times. Overall I try to keep my projects not too big, save often and check if everything's fine after reopening once a while. Beside that I'm getting casual crashes with some plugins, mostly Amplitube.
  10. Tuned pitchfork... in inches for you 😂
  11. I already have Mercury-4 so I just keep hopes that it won't overlap too much otherwise buying it would be like plugin hoarding for me, which I should avoid... oops wrong forum
  12. Not a CAL per se, but right click and hold to lasso select (ctrl+click or lasso to select/unselect single notes) then Num8/Num2 to up/down chromatically or ctrl+Num8/2 to octave up/down.
  13. My first thought was... this looks bit strange for a photo of Sarah Connor 😂
  14. Lowering the price of licenses for 3rd party developers should be their first step, so that the AcousticSamples guy could bring us out a better than just 30% sale on his brilliant Vpianos and we both get happy by owning them 👍🤤🍺
  15. Sadly, I totally agree. That's my biggest gripe about IKM software, much much bigger than their, already infamous here on forum, marketing style.
  16. I thought the topic title has a typo and it should read UVI bought Image Line
  17. For me best fun starts with rolling out linked clips .
  18. oops... forgot to mention the price, thanks!
  19. https://www.audioblast.me/product/mininn-drum/ Mininn Drum is an adaptation of the Linn Drum. We created three different sound ROMs with a selection of different sounds to get a global approach of the famous drum machine. The ROM 1 is a selection closer to the LM-1, the ROM 2 closer to the 9000 Version, and the ROM 3 is a custom adaptation of the 80’s drum sounds. We also added a custom pad with the possibility to embed an additional drum or bass or any sample in your preset. You can modify each sound separately, change the tune, the volume and the panoramic. The Linn LM-1 Drum Computer (conceived by Roger Linn) was the first drum machine to use digital samples of acoustic drums. A lot of artists and bands like Human League, Michael Jackson, Prince, Kraftwerk, Phil Collins, Genesis, Herbie Hancock and a lot of others used this drum machine on their records. We adapt these sounds on a new instrument to offer the possibility to get the sounds of these rare drum machines embed in your setup. Available formats: AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, VST2, Demo versions are available to try our products for: Mac Os X, Mac Os 11, Mac Os 12, Mac Os 13 ,M1/M2, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11, Linux.
