  1. Yeah, it's pretty poor. I would say that there is one too many £31.95's in that price, but that would still be over valuing it.
  2. Your link takes me to what I would expect to see, except that the prices are $US and cheaper than amazon.. I was on https://www.hulufreetrial.co.uk/ which diverts to amazon when selecting sign up. I'm not really bothered, I was just curious to see what was on Hulu compared to the alternatives and what it cost. . If it's just amazon either way I'm happy to pass.
  3. I'm sure that there are people out there who will tell you so...
  4. First world problems........
  5. Hawaiian version of Greased Lightning?
  6. Clicking the "start free trial" option on Hulu takes me to a sign up page for a free trial of Amazon Prime Video. What's with that?
  7. I suspect there is a lot of BS around what's "in stock" with online vendors. I've seen many things supposedly available until you actually try to buy them, at which time "due to high demand" they're suddenly not and your order will be dispatched as soon as new stock is received, date TBA.. My guess is that they know that putting out of stock will mean that the customer will quickly move on to the next alternative and the business is gone, so they try to take the money and then give you the bad news and hope you will be patient or maybe they're not even buying stock until they have definite orders because of cashflow. Recently I was looking into getting two new pc monitors in case my repair guy couldn't fix a fault with mine and there was hardly any available anywhere. My goto pc guy said that they haven't been able to buy them for months now. Luckily I got mine repaired, so it wasn't an issue, but it seems like I would have been screwed if they were not repairable. Arturia have been promising stock of controller keyboards "by the end of the month" since March at least and still nobody seems to have them. Building trade contacts here are reporting shortages of just about everything.
  8. If his p looks like an aubergine then his missing geetar could be the least of his problems............
  9. EZ bass. He's just being a drama queen.
  10. I told you it was still growing somewhere. I can't help you if you won't listen. Is aubergine a new form of insult? I've not heard that one. What's wrong with aubergines? I mean, don't get me wrong, they're not like proper food, but deep fry 'em with a bit of seasoning and they can be quite tolerable.* *assuming that one has already imbibed sufficient beer to be at the stage where everything is delicious.
  11. Yeah, good guys for sure and I have all their synths except the newest one (bit of a kick in the teeth for loyal customers there) but GS2 is certainly letting the side down in it's present form. Hopefully they're already on it.
  12. I guess they changed that somewhere along the way then - I remember thinking that when the price is right it almost made the upgrade worth it on it's own.
  13. I hardly used O8A because I got it just before O9A was announced and Izotope gave me a free upgrade, so I don't recall too much about what was new in that. Master rebalance was the show stealer for me in 09A but I don't think that is included in the standard version, so honestly I don't think there is too much to be gained in going from O7Advanced to 09Standard. IIRC the standard versions don't have Standalone capability either.
  14. Not really...31st July is a Sat, 1st Aug is a Sunday and from my experience, nobody is usually in attendance at PIB on a weekend.
  15. As far as I have seen from the BL site it's like a fing wot kidz can use to like make sum bangin beatz on der fone.
  16. Should have gone for an Electric Barbarella....
  17. Unless there's an equally tempting deal for 09 advanced, I'd be all over it for that price. I haven't had the standard version since v5, but if it were on sale today I would still buy it at that price if I didn't already have the newer versions. If you have nothing Izotope other than elements level stuff , it's almost worth buying just to get in to a better position for future upgrade deals. That said I have no idea what the IKM/Soundforge stuff is like. Another thing to bear in mind is that Izotope are usually pretty generous with grace periods - ie if on Sept 1st they announced Ozone 10, if you were to contact them and say..."Oi, I only just bought Ozone 9 and now I feel cheated" (even though you got it for next to nothing and it shouldn't take genius levels of IQ to figure out why) then based on previous years they would give you 10 FOC. IMO the best bang for buck in Izotope terms is usually when the MPS bundle hits sale time, but I think that has been and gone for this year. Of course, the recent merger may have an effect on all this. Izotope demos are usually fully functioning for a decent length of time, so nothing to lose by trying it out.
  18. Both. As has been said. it's ok for messing with ideas, but ultimately it sounds like what it is.
  19. Not sure that the demo video here backs up that statement. There are better options available. I do like that AAS continue to add midi options to it, but they mostly fall short of being actually usable to my ears.
  20. The fact that it's so buried in the mix probably tells you all that you need to know. GS2 is very much in need of an upgrade now.
  21. Bapu Fuelling Bapu's ride (@21 USG) - approx $84 Paulo Fuelling Paulo's ride (@ 21 USG) - approx $145 No wonder he's got all that spare plug-in money.......
  22. I have no idea what you're talking about.
  23. I didn't. I was just going by what you and telecode said.
