  1. I just upgraded my computer to a Dell XPS 8960 with NVME drives and 64Gb of ram in Windows 11.  Both the boot/program drive and my project drive are NVME drives and are very fast.

My projects with multiple tracks of midi instruments are saving VERY slowly. One that I did recently with 10 midi instrument tracks takes 50 seconds to save to an NVME drive. It loads in a fraction of that time.

What's going on, and how can I fix this?

How are you using Unify with the Seaboard? Is that even MPE?

Unify is just a host for plugins.  If the plugin is MPE enabled, then it will work the same in Unify as it does stand alone, but in Unify you have lots of options, including adding multiple plugins to combine sounds.  It's a fantastic product. I've been using it since it was first released.

  3. Thanks Nigel,

No, it didn't take long. I am not that great a keyboard player anyway, so the fact that it was different, was not a big issue.

The song, "Rise" was the first that I did with it on the second day I had it.

I got it just before Christmas, and I've created those 7 pieces since then.

  4. I know this is an old thread, but I had a crackling problem with my new Clarett 2pre when I set it up today with CbB.  I found this thread, so perhaps this will help someone else.

The solution was to increase the Latency slider to 8ms. After I did that, there were no pops or scratchy sounds, just music on playback. This was with multiple instances of Kontakt, Omnisphere, and other plugins.

This automatically increased the buffer size in the Clarett driver.
