  1. I have Multipass also. That was the main reason that I decided to pick up Andrew Huang's Polychrome. That bank includes 16 of his presets for Multipass. Figured I might learn something from them!
  2. If you have the bx_oberhausen, it's definitely worth picking up Luftrum 22 for $14.50 with 80 presets. Very nice arps, basses, pads, & synths. And as is typical for Luftrum, rarely a dud in the bunch!!! You really can't go wrong with any of them. I've picked up all the Luftrum soundsets for the synths that I have.
  3. Beagle was certainly belting that tune out!!! Nice job all the way around!!!
  4. You should have a new entry for Compexxor in your account. It won't show a license # because it's NFR and therefore never transferable. Your original registered license should have a link for transfer options.
  5. I'm still learning after 20+ years of hacking this DAW stuff... 😎
  6. About to get the Shaft! 😉
  7. Right, I have Multipass and Snapheap, but I didn't list them as FX, since they "host" the FX snapins. Convolver is really the only other kHs plugin that I want. Come on sale!!!
  8. OK, since I now have an additional free copy of TR5 Comprexxor, the license that I originally bought a year ago is now for sale! 🤣 Best offer over the $19.99 IK transfer fee takes it!
  9. Did you look for "TR5 Comprexxor"? I have both the VST2 and VST3 plugin versions installed.
  10. Hope that you didn't miss that 30 of their Essential effects are now totally free! https://kilohearts.com/products/kilohearts_essentials Otherwise they only have 5 premium effects still for sale: Carve EQ, Convolver, Disperser, Faturator, & Slice EQ. I already have the Slice EQ, and so I'm hoping for a sale so that I can snag Convolver.
  11. Yes Polychrome certainly is! I just picked up Polychrome and Suspension: Polychrome - Andrew Huang - A Kilohearts content bank designed by the one and only Andrew Huang. Featuring over 30 presets for Phase Plant and Multipass, this collection will give you a refreshing sip of Andrew's sound, his workflow, his philosophy. Synth leads, pads, basses, FX... multiband processing for electronic or acoustic sources... the creative fun is just about to begin. Suspension - emtyvessel - Tension is fundamental in music and in bridge-building, and the Suspension Content Bank from Empty Vessel explores this functional sense of unease through 38 trippy, suspenseful pads, some rich keys and bass, and 25 all-new wavetables for Phase Plant. Nothing is quite as it seems. Or is it...? It might be. Or not. Grab the bank, and find out. Great for scoring, ambient tunes, trip-hop and downtempo, or a moody night in, Suspension will hold you in anticipation until you reach the other side. I already had: Animus - Tom Wolfe - Each preset tells its own tale, and raises its own questions. Your production will be enriched by delicate pads, organic strings, gritty, dramatic sequences, and dark pulsing basses. Conjure ephemeral images with these customizable sounds. Hardwire - New Loops - Each preset tells its own tale, and raises its own questions. Your production will be enriched by delicate pads, organic strings, gritty, dramatic sequences, and dark pulsing basses. Conjure ephemeral images with these customizable sounds. Headline - New Loops - Fitting right into the heart of Mainroom House, this bank can be used with minimal tweaking across the myriad styles and sub-styles encompassed by the mega-wide EDM designation. It's hard not to raise the roof. We're serious. Try to fail to be awesome with these sounds. It's tougher than you'd think. Good stuff!!!
  12. If you subscribe for a year, Kilohearts will give you a $100 voucher that you can use to purchase perpetual licenses with. But your "all access" to content will end with your subscription cancellation.
  13. No, just 50% off in the Kilohearts cart. Their vouchers are not valid on sale items, only full price.
  14. Well, my GAS was itching to get these 3 extra kits, but then I realized that as rarely as I ever open MODO Drum, I can probably live without the upgrade... But if MODO is your go-to drum plugin, then it's probably worth the hassle to get this sorted out with support.
  15. You probably just need to take a break, until you are less offended... 😉
  16. If you contact IK support, there's a good chance they will reset your downloads in this case.
  17. https://kilohearts.com/banks $29 $14.50 Mostly Phase Plant presets, but a few also include some new wavetables (Crisis Design, I'mmortal, Suspension), and one (Polychrome) also includes some presets for Multi Pass.
  18. Urs Heckman of u-he on analog modeling... warning deep geek stuff here: https://urs.silvrback.com/analogue-modeling "My understanding of analogue modeling in the most simple terms is this: In analogue modeling we use formulas that deal with voltages and currents. These formulas are furthermore based on the understanding of the electronic components used in a circuit, and how they're wired up."
  19. I have u-he Repro and that was a major factor preventing me from upgrading from VC8 to VC9. I was never really into the Arturia version, and have not tested their new Prophet. Maybe in a couple years when I upgrade to VC9 I'll find out.
  20. Not necessarily. I've absorbed some physical modeling by osmosis just from playing around with AAS Chromophone, and KORG Prophecy. But you can pin a geek tag on me for mentioning "osmosis".
  21. True, but the original posted topic will remain searchable forever, so your 2 cents worth may eventually help someone else down the road who lands on the thread. So effort is not necessarily wasted even if the OP never returns, especially if the common sense answer is just to link to existing documentation.
  22. V Collection is mostly modeled, but it's more likely using "circuit modeling", as is typically the way VA synths are modeled. Physical modeling is a mathematical way to model acoustic instruments, using models to emulate things like string vibrations, the way that mallets strike surfaces, or how air flow causes brass and woodwind instruments to vibrate.
  23. This feature was added in Cakewalk 2020.01: Multi-timbral soft synth enhancements https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.33.html "Cakewalk 2020.01 has a new Instrument Track Per Output option in the Add Track menu and Insert Soft Synth Options dialog box for multi-timbral soft synths that support multiple outputs. It pairs a MIDI track with a separate audio output track (mono or stereo) for each synth output, assigning sequential MIDI channels. This allows you to have multiple Instrument tracks for a single instance of a synth." This relatively new feature would probably be most helpful when using a multi-timbral soft synth such as the Sound Canvas VA referred to in the OP. Of course you could use X3 for this, but Sonar takes more steps to manually route multiple MIDI tracks to one instance of a soft synth.
