  1. Yes.. now I understand!! Duh!!
  2. Check this thread out. It explains the issue I am having. It's only the snare drags that are showing the issue.
  3. That's good. With MODO Bass when EZB plays a slide up in MODO it sounds as if the fretboard is being scrapped. No strings noise, just something scrapping the frets. Loudly too!! Now the good thing about MB is that you can choose what the articulations are assigned to. So if we ever find out what those EZB CC are, MB might be able to get it right. Or close enough.
  4. So am I, (stuck with free promo's I can't use) and I don't think we are alone. However, I entered this sale/GB knowing that if it went all the way (which it will), I would have freebies I wouldn't use. Knowing this I still entered the GB because for $49 I got all 8 of the new sound packs for ST4 that I don't have. I still came out on top even with all the unusable freebies I am going to end up with. Do I feel "punished"? Nope. You could write support and tell them what happened, and see if they refund your money. @Peter - IK Multimedia I am noticing that there isn't any mention (no try or buy or even a pic!!) of Sampletron in IK Product Manager? [edit] TOTP again!![/edit]
  5. I am getting some weird behaviour out of dragging midi loops from MODO Drums into CWB. I wonder if this is related?
  6. OK, MODO Bass has a version of a mapper. It's a tab in the UI called 'Control'. It shows MB articulation that you can control. and they are not the same as EZB. I tried changing them to match EZB articulations and it did have some effect. But nothing that would be usable. Found this in the EZB manual looking for articulations: The main difference between the EZbass grid editor and your DAW is the way you program different articulations and how they are presented to you. This section brings up the articulations, how they are visualized, and a little bit about how they work in the background. Some articulations are not Key Switches, but rather CC messages. These are described in the next section of this chapter. These are vibrato and palm muting (damping). Pitch bending and velocity are described briefly earlier in this chapter and more in-depth in the next section. If you play around on the keyboard, you may notice key switches that are beyond the range described in the Key Switch Layout. These are mostly used in a strict fashion by EZbass and are not easily programmable, or were deemed less important than the twelve main key switches available in the layout. Expert MIDI programmers are free to study how they work, but many are practically impossible to get right by human hand within the piano roll of a DAW. So to me, the way I read that is, EZB will not send these messages out to another program. LOL!! The manual goes on to describe each articulation it uses, but gives no hint or info on how to get EZB to send that info out. It would take some work, but I guess you could try and work something out by playing with a keyboard in a trial and error way. But come to think of it, if EZB ain't sending out the info.... your SOL. Which brings me back to:
  7. I thought of this, but didn't work on it. I will give this a try. Good to know someone has had success with it in another program. At least there is hope. Maybe in CW I could use the Drum Map feature to have EZB output to the correct midi for MODO Bass.
  8. Well I was working on a song with EZ Bass and MODO Bass. After working a good bit to get the bass sounding like I wanted it to inside EZB, I tried to send the midi out of EZB to MODO and sure enough, didn't work. It was OK but not like what it sounded like in EZB. Most articulations that make a part sound good, were lost. What a shame. Toontrack really needs to get off of it and open that up. Such a shame. However, I put my Overloud MKII bass amp with EZB set to DI and no effects it it sounded good. Really good! So there is hope.
  9. Yes we will. Never doubted it!!!
  10. Updated this synth couple of days ago and forgotten how fun it is to create new sounds with this thing!! This is a really good synth that's not too expensive. Well worth the money
  11. I like Meghan's first album. Not much after that though...
  12. Thought the same thing. That's why I was saying they should come back and fix it! Ralph over at Rayzoon (Jamstix) has made a midi mapping for MODO drums that makes use of the features in MODO Drums. Wish Toontracks was as forward thinking.
  13. Same here except my sale was the Total Studio Max sale.
  14. I got it!! Really? Thought I was too late. But nope, it's still available.
  15. Speaking of that, does anyone know how to switch focus between EZ Bass and the DAW using the keyboard?!! I have looked up and down for that info and have not come across any reference to it. Surely others has to be asking the same question!!?
  16. Yes, I believe you are absolutely correct in that the White 2A in Amplitube is designed for the guitarist in mind. Which is why some of those features I point out are missing/omitted. They are not needed in that intended use. I read this part of Max's post "Can someone explain - I have T-RackS 5 Total Studio MAX 2 which has White 2A in it. How do I get the White 2A in Amplitube." and took it to mean that he wanted the White 2A he had in his T Racks to be in Amplitube. I was pointing out that can't happen. Plugins from TR can't be accessed within Amplitube. I wasn't sure if he had AT4 or 5. Still working on that post count/thread pages!!
  17. This right here. IK just puts something out and almost forgets about it. I am working with MODO Drums for the first time since I got it. I am finding that it really is a very good sounding drum program. What surprised me the most about it was the Grooves that came with it. They are very good, but limited. IK should come out with more, much more!! And MODO bass comes with... nothing!!! Not one groove!? WT*? That makes no sense. As good as that thing sounds it should have some grooves/loops that comes with it. And now that it's released IK will not come back to it to fix/correct an oversight. SMH Now Sample Tank: Have ya'll listened to the gooves and loops that come with it? They sound pretty dang good! All of them I listened to are very useable. So why hasn't IK release more or let 3rd parties create some grooves or loops? This would add value to some already outstanding products. And ST4 has a IDK.. but ya gotta just shake your head and say opportunities missed!!
  18. Agreed!!! Reid my best bass sound libraries are probably MODO Bass!! Waves Bass Fingers is next!! So sound quality is something I can get around. But I can agree after listening to MODO bass, then switching to EZ Bass, MODO sounds much better. But I got to give them props for the EZ series. All of them are a valuable tool for me.
  19. You could send in a support ticket on it!! 😁
  20. The White 2A in Mixbox and Amplitube looks to be the exact same thing. However, in T Racks it is different, at least feature wise.
  21. Yes!! It looks different. Feature wise it's different too!! That said, I am sure that the underlying code is used in both so the sound would be almost the same.
  22. So everyone understands, what's in bold is the key points. IOW, the White 2A in amplitube ain't the one in T Racks. It may sound the same, but it ain't the same. And it comes with Amplitube, not T Racks. Just trying to keep post/page count up!!
