Happy New Year everyone

Neighbor's kid that was 10 years older then me had a Datsun with stick of course and gave me lessons on how to operate stick shift. So I'll always have a soft spot for Datsun as it is a memory.

I look back and I wish I had the time to take some more diverse classes. I was a commuter college student and working all different hours to pay for college. I didn't have the luxury to stick around the campus. It was a large urban university too. So college age students that have the luxury of not worrying about paying the bills, partake in the full offering the University offers. Okay off my soap-box now.

Erik really nice thoughtful post. I wish more people would think of the DAW as a tool instead of some reverent piece of software that they most defend to the end of time. All DAW's have pluses and minuses to them. With Gibson sale of Cakewalk Sonar it got me to get a couple different DAW's to learn and I'm glad I did. But you are right it is really good to learn one DAW's deeply.

Don't think so John but I would of thought a class like this would be at Berkley College of Music not MIT. I know MIT for engineering but I didn't realize they are offering a class like this. It would certainly be a cool class to take
