  1. Insane price indeed, I already got Sampletank 4 Max through a Group Buy, but thinking of actually getting this just for The Resonator, Syntronik 2 Max & the few new libraries, bonus being I could then use this to upgrade to a future Total Studio including Pianoverse through a Maxgrade, which apparently I can't now, my ST4 Max being acquired through a Group Buy...

Some great instruments in there, the piano & the acoustic guitars are pretty good, lol ST5 Max will be a full terabyte

  2. My two favorite EP collection are Keyscape (indeed superb the Digital EPs are great too), and Neo Soul Keys Studio 2 that you can probably get for cheap during a sale, 50% or more, lot of different presets, that you can heavily customize with many EPs and digital sounds, NSKS2 is not Kontakt, it's its own plugin

I read on the TT EZK2 web page that you can purchase EZK1 now and get free upgrade to EZK2.

What I would check on first is if that purchase has to be made through TT. And would EZK1 purchases from third parties would qualify for the free upgrade.

Yeah, as a new user,  when I registered my EZKeys 1 Full Version serial, EZKeys 2 was directly added to my account, waiting to be downloaded on May 16

Maybe Toontrack noticed the cheap price & bought back all the licences from the store...

  4. Yes concerning the cheap EZ Keys full versions you can find, the same kinda thing happens with IK Multimedia Group Buys, where you can find a cheaper licence at retailers, I guess some shops had some older licences left in stock

  5. I don't know if this store does sales, I guess these are some licences they had left, haven't seen Midi Packs on their store though.

Toontrack does sales, especially around Black Friday & Christmas where Midi Packs can be bought for around 9$

I've never given his much attention, but it seems this is a quality product. Now I could buy into the ecosystem for 179, that's still a lot of money (too much right now, do they do sales?). But the upgrade is only 79. Is that from an instrument expansion? Or do you need the basic software, choose a soundpack to go with it, and that would be your package for 179? As they seem to have 17 versions? I'm confused.

    No my friend :)

As a new EZ Keys user, your best bet right now is to buy a new EZ Keys Full version at a retailer for cheap

You can get the Upright Piano Full Version or a few others for 49€ right here :

    https://www.drum-tec.fr/toontrack-ezkeys-upright-piano-download

You then get a Free upgrade to EZ Keys 2 on May 16

This is what I did the other day, I had resold my EZ Keys a few years ago so didn't have any software to upgrade, when I bought this one, I was given a free upgrade.

    EZ Keys 2 - 49€

    You're welcome :)
