  2. Cool! That means you can start on mine right? 🤪 My computer still does OK for what I do with it (hobby ), but the technology is progressing faster then me and it seems you always need a little more. Hopefully I can retire in three years and spend more time with it. Tell us how you like windows 11.
  3. Consider yourself lucky Larry. I heard it takes Bapu one year just to install his Toontrack Expansions and Midi packs. 🙂 Good luck with your new build.
  4. Looks to me like you got a little strained on your crack! 🤪
  5. Cannot help you on the Pau Ferro fingerboard as I do not think I have played one. But Guitar Center has a Fender Strat with a Pau Ferro fingerboard on the Pick of the Day on sale. $200 off. It is a red burst color with a HSS pickup config. If you do not like the color maybe you could call and see if they would give you the deal for another one. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender/Player-Stratocaster-HSS-Pau-Ferro-Fingerboard-Limited-Edition-Electric-Guitar-Candy-Red-Burst-1500000257000.gc
  6. They could of picked a better name!!! " Hey Bud, you got the newest CLAP from Black Rooster or UJAM yet."

  12. Never owned anything from EastWest, but I got to say Opus looks nice!!!
  13. Toontrack is setting the bar high. Makes you wonder what the next Superior is going to bring!
  14. So should I suck on bouillon cubes and nap all day instead of getting a booster shot? 🤪 I knew being a saltaholic was beneficial. Good luck and get well soon Shane!
  15. Yes, it's a sub-forum in the The Coffee House section.
  16. Sounds like Milo took Kenny to the park and played fetch! 😀
  17. Me too! I play the elusive Air Alembic Bass. Here is a pic of it.
  18. Does this come from personal experience? 😛 She is one of the most classy human beings in the music biz or life in general!! Agree she is a treasure! I vacation down around Dollywood all the time, and she does a lot for the community there. Great lady!!
  19. Also found this video from the same guy actually playing external keyboard sounds with a GR55.
  20. I have delved into this also in the past. I also have a Roland GR55 and use the included GK3 pickup that came with it and have it installed on a old strat type guitar. If you are new to the GR55, most of the presets are crap as usual for a hardware processor. I found a guy on youtube that shows how to deep dive into the menus to get different sounds. This is his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NryBx0drJFU It is a lot of menu diving though! I recently found this on Sweetwater https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/roland-gr-55-send-midi-notes-gr-55/, but have not tried it yet. It shows how to get the midi out of the GR55. I was hoping to get the midi out of the GR55 to play VSTi's in my DAW. The problem will probably be latency though. I was going to try to send the midi out to my audio interface and into the computer that way. As usual I have not spent enough time with it! I've been wanting to try one of these guitar's also. https://jamstik.com/products/studio-midi-guitar?variant=14206283382826 https://www.amazon.com/Jamstik-Studio-Guitar-Black-Matte/dp/B08M8293Z4/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1VHMIE7ZOFI3I&keywords=jamstik%2Bstudio%2Bmidi%2Bguitar&qid=1648474456&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=jamstik%2Cmi%2C232&sr=1-4&th=1 You connect directly to your computer through a USB port. The reviews are decent and there are a lot of reviews on YouTube about it. It is also kind of expensive. About the same as the Roland GR55.
  21. So, what you are saying Craig is that Verizon sucks because of you!! 🤪
  22. New in Cubase 12.0.20 April 27, 2022 – The Cubase 12.0.20 maintenance update is now available. The update introduces some improvements to the new MIDI Remote integration and also a lot of fixes and enhancements in other areas of the application. Performance and stability issues The 12.0.20 update addresses a couple of performance issues that occurred with different combinations of CPUs, plug-ins, MIDI Remote controllers, project settings or preferences. The performance on systems with many cores and short sample buffers sizes in particular will improve with this update. We will continue to investigate performance issues on specific systems, and we will provide additional improvements with the next updates. Therefore, we still rely on your reports. Please get in touch with us in the Steinberg Forum if you are still experiencing issues after the update. We have improved the following features and functionalities MIDI Remote improvements We are very happy about all the positive feedback on the new MIDI Remote integration, and our team is enjoying the enthusiasm and ambition of the community to create their own surfaces and scripts very much. As mentioned earlier, we will improve the usability and functionalities of the MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant and the MIDI Controller Surface Editor step by step. These are some of the new features in Cubase 12.0.20: The MIDI Controller Surface Editor now supports trigger pads and horizontal faders. Double-clicking on an item on a surface now opens the MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant window. The MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant now allows to change mappings from "Fixed" to "Selected Track" to facilitate making your project-related mappings also globally available across different projects. We have added explanatory texts for some of the settings in the Mapping Configuration section of the MIDI Remote Mapping Assistant. The header of a surface now offers a pop-up control to access some of the key functions like disabling the controller script or exporting the script. The "Import Script" function is now available when adding a device via the "+" button. Miscellaneous Render In-Place using option "Mixdown to One File" now works as expected. Selected "Apply" action in (Project) Logical Editor now works as expected. VariAudio note segments are now displayed correctly when editing multiple parts. Selecting an output for a channel in the Channel Settings Window now works as expected. We have improved the scrolling behaviour in the Sample Editor when changing the event selection. The record file format in the project settings is now correct when a project is loaded after the application language was changed. Saving presets in the StepDesigner MIDI plug-in now works as expected. We have improved the performance with Vienna Pro Ensemble plug-ins. Fast Forward/Rewind buttons in the Transport Bar now work as expected. Writing automation in touch mode on linked VST MultiPanners now works as expected. Audio-Exporting a Job Queue can now be cancelled as expected. Pitch curves are now shown for the currently active audio clip only when using VariAudio. The horizontal line of the Cross-Hair cursor is shown without an offset in the Key Editor. We have improved the handling of unavailable network drives when starting up the application. In the Markers window, attribute values are now displayed correctly. Stability We have improved stability in the following areas: SpectraLayers as Track Extension Insert/Send Bypass Track Operations set up in the Project Logical Editor https://www.steinberg.net/cubase/release-notes/12/
